  1. The folds in the corners would be covered by the finish screed, sub base concrete polystyrene then screed, have you thought about the point loading of the legs maybe thicken the base round the legs you could then waterproof the screed at less cost
  2. For the small cost that a few sheets of polystyrene would be I would include it, it would help to slow any great variations in temperature, nobody likes damp balls!

  4. If you going to have one make it a big one I always think of these saws as a substitute for a small cock!
  5. Budget and area.?the larger camon are good reliable, rotavators only work the soil to about 150mm max.

  10. I did it with nfu they also allowed him to gain no claims bonus for car when he got one. got him a 950 cc fiesta van, basically the smallest van possible with only two seats it lowered the liability. Wasn’t cheap but he still works for me 20 years later
  11. The pay back is above base rate your chipper could be fixed rate but the bbl has no early repayment penalty and no interest for 12 months

Just had call from accountants apply for bounce back loan now !no checks no interest for first year pay back at any time so put in a savings account won’t make any money there but if you need it you have got it , in 11 months time if you haven’t spent it pay back no cost it’s as close to free money as you are ever going to get

  14. the mulcher will be right at the tractors limts had to lengthen the lift arms on mine to get the pto running at a acceptable angle especially when lifting,make sure you guard very very well had a 9 inch turner on the back of mine same problems with shaft length and angle put ballast weights on front tyres to help as the chipper was so far out main problem was the attachments were designed for a std tractor which has more ground clearance
  15. wow ! I never realised that I’ve been cutting timber for 45 years now I know where I’ve been going wrong So how do you remove them the picture show them driven fully into the log

  18. I had this problem when new log burner replaced installer removed damper from the chimney said it was not requied / allowed can’t remember. Depending on which way the wind was fire just got too much draft and smelt one day came into the room to see it glowing red in places, reinstalled damper never had a problem since

Once you have used a pro breaker of any make you won’t go back to a cheap Lidl ,Aldi screwfix, b&q cheapy more comfortable to use, more choice in steels and cheaper in the long run plenty of backup and spares although not needed much. if you need to dig holes I would get a second hand , Makita, dewalt or bosch they all have exceptional backup and repairs
  25. Get a secondhand bosch 16-28 off eBay great breaker and repairs by bosch
