1. Holder a60 forestry tractor

Time Left: 6 days and 4 hours

• FOR SALE
• USED

HOLDER A60 Tractor 55hp 1980 Agri registered with v5 in my name. Tractor is in great condition for age and will work all day long with no problem. It comes complete with 2 doors (1 is missing the glass) and the rear screen is missing. 4 good tyres with slight cracks as pictured. Rear wheel weights. Its is 6ft wide as it has axle extenders on which is great for stability and also good for following in bigger machines tracks in the woods. 2 hydraulic spools. Starts no problem at all. Articulated steering with difflocks so will climb up anything you throw at it! Awesome brakes and handbrake. Very strong and tight loader which can be removed easily complete with bucket (as pictured) and also a timber blade (which I forgot to picture!) The uniforest 35m Winch isn't included in this sale, but may be available by separate negotiation. The PTO clutch doesn't disengage but the PTO can be put in/out by turning the engine off, and restarting. There is a bearing noise in the pto drive too. I was quoted between £400-£750 to fix both problems but haven't got around to doing it but it doesn't affect the tractor working. The odd leak underneath but nothing serious. I was planning to keep this tractor forever as I always wanted one, but my dream vehicle has surfaced so this reluctantly has to go! Comes with operating manual, parts manual, and workshop manual. Any trial welcome. Cash on collection, or cleared funds only.

£4,750.00

2. Safe bloc users

How did you have the lowering rope configured through it? Could it have possibly been the wrong way around so the weight of the timber was pulling the top of the safebloc down? Sent from my SM-G925F using Arbtalk mobile app
3. Looking for a hard top for a navara

I wouldn't touch a truckman.... Its only 2 years old and it's awful. Poor quality, leaks, everything breaks, and the fibreglass is cracking all over it. Sent from my SM-G925F using Arbtalk mobile app
4. Horse-Flies...Been bitten yet ?

Get yourselves a bottle if this! Got bitten loads yesterday in the woods as I forgot it! Applied it today and didn't get bothered once! And you get soft skin! 😉😂 Sent from my SM-G925F using Arbtalk mobile app
5. Small billiet bundler

I keep toying with building a horizontal billet splitter to tow around with my 2.5t digger. With the grab on the digger, I could lift any sized log onto the splitter and split it with remote control, then drop the split billets into a bundler. Sent from my SM-G925F using Arbtalk mobile app
6. ARB Show feedback thread...please, and thank you

The lack of big arb suppliers was a big disappointment this year. For me, and a lot of others too, honey brothers and frjones are the main reasons for coming to the show. Especially since the stihl distance selling rules came in, these suppliers can't post any new machines. I was ready to spend a lot of money on new saws and kit but I came away this year with a flip line! I personally think the aa should be enticing these big suppliers to the show because you will pull bigger numbers in. If it's the same next year, I won't be coming (along with a lot of other people!) 7. driveway solutions

I've got type 1 down in my yard and no matter how gently you turn a tracked machine, it tears it up terrible! Driving on it is fine, and even turning twin wheel trailers is OK.
8. Show us your Arb Diggers please.

You could get some laminated glass cut at a glass shop. I had a piece cut for a machine which was an awkward shape with radius corners and all edges rounded for £30... Approx size 500 mm X 600mm. Just gave them a ply template.
9. what logs have you been chopping today!

👍3ph? How you getting on with it?
10. And it seems they're in Somerset too. Saw these posters when I drove through Taunton a while back. I thought it was a joke until I Googled it! 😠 http://m.somersetlive.co.uk/beavers-wanted-dead-or-alive-by-woodlands-castle-owner-sir-benjamin-slade/story-29783900-detail/story.html
11. Kindlet 200 or Kindle Pro

We were getting around 3000 nets to an artic load.
12. 110/130 weight carrying ability

You could always make the landrover a flat bed and load a tracked chipper on it. My 3500kgs 110 tipper has a payload of 1300kgs so without the weight of the tipping gear and high sides, you could carry a forst tr6 at 1300kgs and tow a tipping trailer.
13. Woodchip wanted, Chepstow

Pm sent
14. 16ft ifor Williams for 2.5t digger

Thanks for the replies. With a digger it looks a lot of weight high up on them and if things did start to get squirmy (with a blowout or poor loading), I fear it's only going to end badly. Maybe a tri-axle is the way forward and not this 16ft twin axle I've been offered.
15. Does anyone use a lm166 (16ft dropside) for transporting a 2.5t digger? I've got a gd106 with fold down ramp which is nice and low and easy use but it's a one trick pony and it's f'ing wide! I've been offered a 16ft ifor which would be a much better all-rounder as I could get the chipper and grinder on it and it would get used a lot more for general use.
