  1. The 125 is a good reliable machine,I have used one hard for 3 years no probs. You do need to keep the blades sharp, but you should on any machine if you want it to last,it isn't as fast as the larger machines, but it will earn you a living, and is very manouverable by hand. Just watch out for scorched grass from the downward exhaust outlet, put a deflector on it.I find it reasonable on fuel to be honest,I can fill my 4 yard tipping body for about £3.
  2. Make one out of the girlfriends best handbag strap, then tell her it was your own idea with pride!
  3. Make one up from an old boot tongue, only take you five minutes.
  4. Brill thread, gotta get snapping now, nice and wet here so diffused light and moist subject = good conditions .
  5. No one is an expert at it mate, you sound like you are doing right by the kids and hat off to you there,by the time were confident at it the kids are grown up!
  6. Thought this amusing too! No offence to the scotts though. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNn-6FzTimY&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Scottish Sobriety Test[/ame]

  8. Ooh nasty shock, glad he didn't get it worse than that.
  9. Good luck, and enjoy it all,the good & the bad bits too!
  10. Yes Tommer,I took part of my last post from Robert.S. I know the consquences of what can hapen to our young ones, got the T shirt from when I was young. It is so important for different parents to comunicate with each other as gardians of the kids they have, and to look out for each others children too.
  11. Riko are good, look about & get a good one.
  12. Did you not phone the parents of her mate to really see if she was camping out?? if my kids are going anywhere i check then double check who they are with and go round and meet the parents of the kid they have befriended This I always do,it's a good way of helping parents to comunicate & keep an eye on each others kids.
  13. No point in ripping the hell out of her,you did right sitting her down & explaining things, you realy should tell the other girls parents what happened soonest. My daughter is also a good lass, capable of realising when she has messed up....after the event that placed her in harms way. That's the nature of things when you are young, and they learn by thier mistakes,(that is in the plural). I had a reason to be concerned six mounths ago with my daughter(step),and the other parents that knew but did not inform me had the problem of me...my daughter was treated in much the same way as you have done. You would do well to quietly give them a heads up on this one in my opinion.
  14. Well done Dean, you can obviously avoid trouble .....its just that trouble can't avoid you!!
  15. Just take it easy, and try to read your paperwork before you go to sleep in the evenings, you will remember it easier,oh & get the misses to ask you questions on the paperwork, that helps too. Good luck & enjoy it!
  16. Hello Stevie,Is liam ok,not seen him for a while, just want to know if he is well, thanks,Geoff.

  17. Theres no reason why you can't get into it,I'm 50 and still climb, like a lot of people, just ease into it to develop your skills & let your body adapt.
  18. Good on you Plippy,it's a tough call mate.
  19. I would let the other parents know myself,or the backlash could be on you if they find out elsewere. You have a responsibility to the girls parents so they can protect her in the same way you are looking after yours. At 14 they are vulnerable, the parents should be grateful you have told them,if not they are at fault. Thats my take on it anyway, from my experiences with my daughter.
  20. Heres one from today if I can get the vid up,routine pop,not too much side clearance, and tight on the tip to the motor anchoring against backlean & slight but gusty windage, poor vid but the end shows me scratching no paint! Which Camera

I want a G 11,they are the mutts as far as I can establish, but to get the best from them you need to understand the basics of the interaction between aperture & shutter speed, leading on to depth of field, spot metering for the exposure etc. Digital cameras don't have the exposure latitude of film cameras,I still use my old weston 5 light meter & lieca screw camera,oh what fun!
  22. Looks good,nice back suport,nice and simple.
  23. And clogs! Makes good clogs:biggrin:
  24. That's a very good price,I'm paying about £550 on the landy...
  25. Sounds about right to me.
