    Strip it & clean it,decoke the exhaust if it needs it,& check the chain brake assembly for any defects. If thats all good she's going to let go big style!

  10. Landy all the way,nothing else can tow like it and carry the chip away from narrow/rough access sites,its British made and reliable if not abused in an earlier life.

  17. I use a 200 rear handle a lot,cracking saw,wonder why they stopped them. Echo do a rear handled version of their topper,that would be ok.the 350wes . ECHO CHAINSAWS Chainsaws Discount suppliers online
  18. Special branch could root out the perpetrator! I would excavate round the root structure just below ground looking for blocked up bore holes if you realy have suspisions,roundup or the like in concentration injected in to those could kill them I imagine.

  21. I would look to the carb if all the hoses are ok,sometimes a strip & clean sorts things out at no cost.Check the electrical conections& leads for problems too. Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

If I was selling anything on here I would want to tell it how it is & answer any queries directly & with conviction.Why not ask the company who 'looked it over'(gearbox),what that represents,and post it back on here? And maybe people are minding there own buisness by wanting to fully understand the provenance of a piece of plant advertised on an open forum. Good luck with the sale,just my honest opinion.
