    bees

'Treesandbees' gets on here from time to time,Mike is his name,he has been keeping for a few years,I'm always doing a winney the poo & nicking his honey,so he wont speak well of me,but he would be good for advice!
  2. I'm not a fan of decking, but that looks realy good!
  3. Love that little willow,its a beaut:thumbup1:
  4. Wont change the chain speed as this is dictated by engine revs and sprocket size,it will rev up slightly faster as less inertia in the chain,it will help it cut a bit faster, but realy that depends on how many teeth in the kerf/diameter of log, both chains will cut a 4'' log at roughly the same speed.
  5. I like the 'series 1 for backup' idea,so if one packs up you can just swap em over & still get to work, may utilise that idea myself! Joking aside, miss my old 2a,great little motors for tootling around in or trials,
  6. Lovely pics, good looking horse there as well!
  7. I like the coopers, not sure what max air presure is,but I run my rear ones at 55 psi, they were £80 a corner all in. BFG's are probably a better tyre, but these run quiet on the road, good off,and dont seem to wear badly,so I'm happy enough.
  8. :thumbup:Congrats to you And the lass, well done & trust all went well!
  9. It is dense, but strong too, would have been lighter in ally,I like the way it looks, and get a 1200 kg payload.Oh & the timber was free!
  10. I Use it both on a short strop for work positioning, and often on a second line ,along side lifeline with friction hitch for limbwalking, have used it to descend with a fig 8 rescue to.
  11. Got the ram from autolift, they seemed ok to me and quite helpfull, the wood is iroko' (poor mans teak!) Saw yours on here a few days ago, lovely motor!
  12. Looks good to me! same as the others regards the little stub.
  13. I climb on mine, they work well for me,be interesting to see what other opinions are as they are not fail to safe.
  14. Just a couple of the landy doing what it does best! 6 feet of chippings, and the light footprint lets it get right to the edge to tip, these motors stun me with their versatility.
  15. Nice one,Ive been mainly administering ABH to leylandi round baddow.
  16. None so far in sunny essex,it has been wonderfull,I could hear other chainsaws for miles!
  17. :thumbup1:It's a fantastic resource,and fun to boot!
