  1. Why? Did he specify the requirements not provided by these cs trousers?
  2. I drink 'dioralite' or rehydration salts you can get from the chemists, dont over do it,but one a day will help,as well as water, Like the tonic water idea, love the stuff!
  3. I would have a close look at the clutch drum roller bearing in case it has corroded too.
  4. I'm going week at the knees now John, she looks so good in black & white! Looks a nice job, love the way pops chip too.
  5. Go straight to the clutch, week or broken springs, roller bearing worn, gunged up internals. Strip it clean it lube it & see what happens. All this if you are achieving a correct tickover.
  6. I'm in love with the winch truck! What a lovely motor.
  7. That's fair comment imo,it explains things to the inexperienced in a concise way!
  8. Don't understand people insulting another member,if you don't like the post why get involved in pathetic quips about a persons looks or way of talking. Dadio puts these vids up & takes the time to edit them & reply to reasonable criticism or questions,if you dont agree with a teqnique shown, sure express yourselves. I like his style of dealing with personal insult (ignoring it),but it sure leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to see us 'pros' resorting to schoolboy insults. Come on lads give the guy a break, please! P.s. I hate sticking my nose in like this ,but at least I am being impersonal & polite!
  9. I enjoyed that video,Keep them coming Dadio!
  10. Just keep it sharp,& well maintained,no point in medling, unless you know what your doing.
  11. Landy 130 will take a fair old load,have a look again.

Yeh,I put a filter on the tank end of mine when I replaced the pipe, easy job to do & well worth it.

Is it a new machine? If its more than a couple of years old yo may have cracked fuel line between the filter & tank, easy to replace, only costs under a tenner if you buy the hose from a decent garage. You wont see the cracks as they are under the braiding/hose covering, but they suck air &the engine wont run right if at all.
  14. Go to orange plant, you cant afford a blade failure for a few quid, and they are good people too!
  15. Well done mate,& thanks for the update.
  16. I have the 125 timberwolf which has rubber fuel lines with a braided material on the surface, the rubber inner had broken down so it had cracks along it's length, very easy to replace with automotive hose. If you dont get sorted with the other sugestions on here, its worth replacing,I got mine in a length for about ten quid,(no braid),from a decent garrage. No sign of any leaks, but it sucked air. New lines and it was job done.
  17. If the building is of soft reds(bricks), or rendered with a stone fleck,or old wattle & daub,be very careful how you price it,and depending on the structure You may not achieve a perfect removal without surface damage or the inability to remove the holding signs of the ivy. I love these jobs, especialy if the roof is in old slates & the ivy has got under them...Split slate, clatter clatter etc!

    Celox

So far never had to use it,but its a must have in my first aid kit,I would rather it go out of date and replace it than not have it if & when . Get 3 or four of them, sometimes one is not enough in a panic on a windy day!
  19. The bit you cut out will be on the hinge side of the plastic case, cut it so you have rounded corners or it will split in the cold with vibration etc.
  20. Got nothing to do with suspension problems, why derail a good post with grafic pics of a car accident?? I hope you actualy know the implications of suspension trauma if you work around climbers.....jeez:001_rolleyes:
  21. we all know right from wrong,if you are knowingly going out to cut a tree you understand to be protected then don't do it,if you work for someone who deliberatly ignores the rules, like them or not then you will undermine your principles and your credability . Simples. We all have to earn a living, feed the kids, etc.that is a fact,so why ruin the future for a few quid today? It obviously goes against the grain for you,so check out the facts, make sure you are correct, and stick to your principles. Long winded post from me ,rules are made to be broken,as some are absurd, then some make a lot of sense!
  22. I use aspen in all my saws,Stihl, echo, and my only husky,the3120,they all run lovely on it. Waste of money..no,in my opinion, The last saw mentioned does drink fuel when you work it hard, and hence costs to use it on aspen compared to pump fuel, but sod the cost it works for me. Give it a try and see how you feel. The 3120 can sit in my hot tin shed for a good month or two and still come out sounding like a dog on steroids, and run without a glitch.
  23. Get insured, and good luck mate, there is work out there.
