  1. :001_smile:nice pic ,lovely little girl you have, mines 15 going on 16 now, still just as much the apple of my eye as when I first saw her, if all else comes to nothing but ones endeavors, your offspring are your legacy, and it doesn't get better than that!
  2. Lovely saw,all you would want.
  3. You are not realy going to cut up a 1.5 m diameter with a 15 inc bar. What area are you in,as the cheapest way would be to get a pro with a big saw to disc it for you.
  4. RST Landrovers Ltd Mersea - Landrover mail order parts, vehicle sales, servicing and repairs Thats better, sorry for the last rather uninformative post!
  5. Unreal picture, wonder if the gutters still work!!!
  6. Try these people in essex if it's not too far, they may be able to source a nice one as a chassis cab, worth a call,If they have what you want ,pm me,& I may be able to help you get a good price.
  7. I can see how it might put your nose out ,but just ensure your clients that your wood is seasoned, and explain the difference,no point in resorting to violence or skulduggery, just compete.
  8. Thats good news James, let us know how you get on with it!
  9. Close call, that could so easily have been very nasty, glad your not cut!
  10. The 260 is a good robust saw,not the fastest cutting,but if a 15 inch bar is big enough(it will take 18 inch,but struggle),then I would say get one.
  11. Drop beer & bread,& try to eat less in the evening, also cut out junk snacks & fatty foods like cheese, drink more water & no fizzy soft drinks, eat more fruit & salads. It's tough to start with, but after a week or so you wont miss the bad stuff. If you feel a bit peckish after dinner in the evening,go for a bit of vigorous excercise, say four sets of ten situps & pressups.
  12. Bath tub indeed!! that's a perfectly servicable Hamstead heffer trough! Nice fun Job David!

  19. Check the levels of red in the mewp Dean, you dont want it running out trying to load it up on the trailer in the morning, they look like dodgy siphon suckers on the prowl, hope they got a mouthfull of bio bacteria,
  20. it depends on the tree, but its good to leave the odd stem or young riser on it here & there thats viable,it can always come off a year or two down the line, just helps the tree getting its sap up,I'm no expert so I'm sure Hamma can come back explaining it better(Ive also enjoyed half a bottle of sherry,it's me age you see)!
  21. I always try to do this too, but some clients want them cleaned, always worth explaining it too them in the hope they will go with it.
