Good luck, youve a job on your hands there!

  14. :nurse:Good luck with it mate,it will take about 3 days for the pain to go with the anti/b's,Ive had 2 of these & it isnt any fun.
  15. If you are in heavy pain get some 'panadol',or and 'plink fizz' soluble pain killer, crush one up to powder ,wet finger dab in powder & hold against tooth & gum,do both sides (it will fizz & get into the gum & teeth gaps). You can repeat a few times as you cant od on one tablet, ten minutes or so & it will reduce the severity of the pain till you can get it looked at,but if it is proper bad,as above A&E. Good luck with it & dont pull it about or poke holes in it,you will make things worse.
  16. I'd sort that soonest, looks liable to fail.
  17. Sycamore is used a lot in food utensils as you say, fine for a bread board, elm is great too as its tough and doesnt split like some woods will.
  18. Im buning this years sycamore,it is 4 to six inch branch wood, and it goes alright, not the best maybe but its ok,you need the air round it to season it or it can get a bit mouldy, especially if cut in summer with the sap up.
  19. Huck's about right on this one,my favourite logs are from foraging the overgrown essex hedge rows for standing dead elm with the bark coming off,Iv'e been felling a fair few standing dead elms in a woodland strip for a client......warm next winter!
