Good little trucks in my book!
  4. Isnt that what half the liberalised law makers are doing?
  5. I would fix it,you dont want it to let you down at a bad time, could do more damage,& it just can't feel right running around in a work motor with a fault for any length of time, hopefully it will be just pressure plate & clutch, check for an oil leak on the crankshaft oil seal too.
  6. I think they are just to stop them going 'clang' when you shut the door,in no way are they meant to seal anything....
  7. That tl looks lovely,drool!
  8. Good on the couple for the overturn,I'm not homophobic but some of these laws are bonkers,& the dipsticks who make them should be given ten years hard labour!
  9. Whodunit!!!!? Classic! Name & shame is against the forum rules, just occasionally it's a shame.
  10. I use the little 260,and its a cracking saw,no problems with it either, not the power for takedowns but fine on light reduction work & leylandi hedge type jobs.
  11. Great pics & love the technique,if slightly over exposed, what are the benefits of a clothes line pulley oven an impact block other than its weight?
  12. Great find,thanks I enjoyed that!
  13. I would confront the main man fairly but firmly, sounds like his letters could amount to libel. He is after winning the contracts by frightening the client that you are not viable, thats treading on thin ice in my books, very low. Hope you come out on top!
  14. Thats a good post, frightening stuff, from an end user's perspective I hope someone gets hung for that! Bet they will have a new game to play, pass the hot potato!
  15. :thumbup1:young Jelly is realy getting the hang of that, good clean string separation, which is hard to grasp
  16. Cool link Matt!
  17. If you have disced up a trunk its a great help picking it all up without bending down & getting hold of the pieces, just 'tock' it into the end grain & swing the piece up,the tool end comes out easy too as it curls like a hook, when your wood is wet & slippy (no funny comments please),you'd be impressed how easy it makes the job, also for dragging lengths too:001_smile:
  18. Nice pics Mark, like em both.
  19. These are great back savers when picking up disced up timber, wouldnt be without mine! Stihl Log Pick 500 Gram - £22.08 - Picks and Hooks - Arborist Equipment & Forestry Kit - Stafford West Midlands
  20. On you way home pull over & let the traffic go by,or go round the block helps stop follower thieves, they aint all in transits.
  21. It will be out in a couple of months, according to a husky rep at a show.
  22. Nice place,I bet it was busy there a good few years back!
  23. The client obviously loves his tree, thats cool! Makes a change from some clients!
  24. Its out there round here, steady rather than overwhelming, hope it picks up for you soon.......And Ive had some of those Mark!
  25. Be carefull,it could have gone down a transfer port into the crankcase and be out of sight,I may be wrong on this as I have not seen the 660 internals, but I would have the barrel off, blow out the crankcase with the saw upside down. I stand to be corrected, but it could be a concern,as you would not see the bit if you dont take the barrel off.
