  1. You could make a coolbox for your sarnies, just dont tell your groundy wHere they are...you know how gready the old brash draggers can be...
  2. Its a shame the ms200 rear handle is currently not available in the uk,as it would be far & away the best saw for your job,it is meant to be available again, might be worth asking a dealer local to you when,or give f.r.Jones a ring,he advertises on here and is very helpfull & competitive. No doubt the husky clan on here will chip in with an alternative option!
  3. Undrbody area gives plenty of room on the 130,I've thought about doing it,just waiting till I get the time, probably make mine with chequer plate ally, silicon sealant bead & bolt it together as Im not an ally welder, maybe line the base with rubber stable mat.
  4. Cool ,love the look of that!
  5. If you do end up not getting sorted try a straightforward dialogue with your man,try to get to the bottom of it & atain some definate comitment.
  6. When you say bounced for the money,do you mean the cheque bounced,or other? Hope you get paid out by the way, maybe just a glitch?
  7. Looks like its not got an air filter on it,eek.....
  8. Ouch!!! Hope it heals clean for you,I very rarely use gloves, cant stand them!
  9. Good luck with it all, sounds like tey have set it up wrong on the adjusters when replacing the cable.
  10. Cool mutt, looks like it will make a good dog with training.
  11. You should grind with the brake on,but disengage the brake when moving into the work for the next sweep. I f yours is anything like my dosco, and I suspect it is,there is some adjustment on the caliper itself, bit fidly to get at,but fairly easy,(10 minute job). Hope this helps, and I would be inclined to question the dealers attitude to brake usage.
  12. I have also creapt it on the brake to move the machine further into the grind, but believe that it over stresses the drive & brake, better off reversing out & clearing/leveling the platform for the wheels, saves your shoulders a lot of work too. Its a static brake to fix the work position, not a friction device to hold you on a heap of grinding chaff.
  13. I only grind with the brake on,mines a big old dosco, the brake is not realy as heavy duty as I would want. They have a habit of getting gunged up & corroded on the caliper, service that & the cable system will not be under the same stress.
  14. I take it that you have anti roll bar on it,double springs,3500kg plate on the motor, the 110 will roll on corners more so than the 130,as the rear axle is getting more of the load.
  15. Congratulations to your wife and you,and it is a lovely choice of name!
  16. It sounds a great idea Tony,I wish you well in the venture!
  17. My 130 is 6feet wide,& 8foot four long,I kept it narrow as I see this as one of the benefits of a landy. The military use extended wing mirror arms on some of their landys, you can buy them if you search about,I got some britpart ones, but the quality is not as good.
  18. Always interested in new kit,but why buy before others try?
  19. Swab with surgical spirit on it,soak the bloody thing & it will let go. Had one on me pip sack a few years back, wife found it,it came off a jacob sheep I had been attending to,(cut after shearing before you ask).
  20. Thats interesting,great pics too!
  21. I would keep him away from your lunch box,he looks predatory...........
  22. :listen:Oh dear.....his exuberence is comendable, but I wouldnt let him out in public areas.............
  23. Pray share them, cant see any pics....
  24. Good luck mate, its a blow when kit goes bang.
  25. Thats a shame, how old is it,they normally hold up well with regular oil /filter changes.
