  5. In general.....correct!
  6. Yeah,& my little mutt is as soft as butter,do the wrong thing and off he goes, flick my eyes at him & he will respond the same way. for me he is two things..early warning(better senses than me), and a very good distraction if something needs sorting' Teamwork is what it's about. being in a situation when the dog has proved an absolute asset does not happen often, My last time I got in trouble I behaved & got control of an agressor, the mutt did his bit alright, locked on hard to the upper thigh and ragged it,he did not stop until I was more p##sed of with the dog than I was the situation. Nice to know they will back you up,but I Know they are only more than a deterant if you are there as part of the pack.

  14. I think we will be seeing an increse in there thefts,if you want protection of a night time & you keep your kit at home,a good quality baby moniter in the garage, and the reciever in the bedroom is a good start for little outlay. I also run a fishing line across the drive, slip of plastic on the end from a milk bottle, which is held in a wooden clothes peg,the peg has a thumbtack in each jaw & a wire from each tack to a hidden battery & motorcycle horn. The line at two feet off ground(its virtualy invisible to furtive eyes, and the peg nailed through the hole in the spring to my side hedge, If they thrip the line all hell breaks loose & they wont find the peg and circuit as its all hidden away. You can add as many trips as you want on their own feed wires back to the battery & horn. Cheap & effective.

    50/1 vs 25/1

50/1 unless the manufacturer states otherwise, and always a good quality oil. Mixing in the tank is ridiculous.

Looks ok,set the 3 knots & you will get a bit more length in the soft link, give it all a good test on the ground before using it in anger.
