  2. As Lorry says, but I bolted an old fishing reel on mine to hold the cable, works fine.
  3. They are a beast to use Rupe, last time I had a go i felt like I had done a few rounds with a gorilla!
  4. Did you get my pm with details Alec?
  5. Thats a good start!

  11. Brave man Alec,pm returned.
  12. Got an old 2 stroke allen scythe just taking up space,it's a good one, nice paint/cables etc, have not run it for a year or so,but was all nice, and barn stored. Pick up in maldon, essex,I have no pics, but if anyone wants it give me a shout . It would suit a thick set 5 foot maximum individual, who can naturaly turn off feelings of pain and boredom,(asuming you have the potential for these senses in the first place), you can pm me to save embarassment,I wont tell....if you live local, and feel confused by all this,it is a genuine offer and you realy ought to just have it! Felixthe chopper need not apply,he is far too tall!
  13. Bet the wife the £500 you can do it...stump up the five hundred yourself at the end of the week,& she has to pay up for loosing.....its cheating but hey!
  14. Incredible photos,I bet that made one hell of a noise!
  15. The makita cordless is the one to go for,you get 2 batteries, approx 20 minute charger(most clients are cool if you need it),I can sharpen my finger teeth (8),twice per battery,so although an expensive machine,I would not be without it. The suplier of those discs offers a good discount if you buy 2 or more, they are double sided and very good quality.
  16. I use a cordless makita grinder, and diamond discs, there is a company who sell them at a seriosley reasonable price & very good double sided quality too, they are in another post on here, will try & get the link. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/17674-diamond-disc-stumpy-teeth.html Here you go,they are a great company!!!!
  17. Sound like he had it coming, good on the marines for looking after him,and reducing the paperwork & expense in the process.
  18. Very nice bowl, workmanship looks very good too.
  19. £16 round here,it is expensive,but I will stick with it.
  20. Take it away for nowt,That will feed the average stove for a week at most! If you realy like doing the cutting & splitting thing then go for £5.
  21. I am time spent with the small echo top handle,it has done a good bit of work, one brake band (I do snap them on when a cut is done, sometimes on the run down on awkward going to hand grab it for speed cuts). cracking little saw in it's own way,and the handle configuration is great, albeit be aware on a reach out, the kick back potential is enhanced if your left hand grips on the rear end of the swept back side handle .It's true!
  22. Over what timescale,This last year?....its all speculation and bunkem without defined source and proof. Waste of space speculation so far, that wont boil my brain.
  23. One came down round my way a few weeks ago, maybe 1km from where I was, clipped the willows on a nose dive into a lake, the dog whent nuts & I was oblivious until a passing military chopper started doing circles over the crash zone. sad loss of life. BBC News - Police release details of Essex lake plane crash pair
