  7. Part of the reason is alot of tree work isn't essential, unlike plumbing. IF you don't get your plumbering sorted yor quality of life changes ie. no running water, heating, toilet etc. If a tree isn't pruned......well it just gets bigger, its not an essential. tree work is oft times a luxury to the client, yes there are times it's essential, but generally not.
  8. Stretch airs As or high flex Cs never had an issue with As in a tree

  11. i totalally agree with huck and pete, you need to be able to get yourself down or your stuffed. On a slight tangent to franks post, how often do you check you have mobile reception on your sites? i often work out in the sticks and generally someone has reception, but we don't find this out till a break or lunch. what if there wasn't any? Also truck keys, how many people jump up with them still in their pocket? Wheres the RA, first aid, spare kit, mobile.........in the truck.
  12. Surely it would make it easier, you wouldn't have to wear spikes as the trees already them.

  18. I've got both ropes, they are also both short ropes, they are also both excellent ropes. If you like thinner stuff then blaze is your best bet, just be aware that its a true 11mm line, over the tachyons 11.5mm. You'd be suprised how much of a difference it makes.
  19. Awful man just awful. these people are scum pure and simple.
  20. Mine hasn't seen much use since it bit me, the little blade on the end + thumb= big mess. Blades dull very quickly and are silly pounds to replace too.
  21. What keeps me going is the excellent pay, short working hours, generous holiday allowance, coming home full of energy, lack of stress.....oh hang on:lol:
