  1. You could if you had another rope spliced up in a similar manner.
  2. No way in hell you'll get that sort of money down this way, £150 max and thats for the best climbers with rigging + 2 saws. £100-130 is the going rate.
  3. Surefire make some electronic in ear protectors they aren't custom molded...but just molded, keep meaning to try some as they're pretty cheap.

    what boots?

    I've used eltens and meindls. Everyone i used to work with wore eltens....now most people wear meindls. Eltens chewed my feet to bits and didn't last too long. Not had any problems with my airstreams and none with the pros before that. Don't skimp on boots, you'll regret it.

  8. Got a text at 5:30 saying work was off so took the dog up on the south downs snow up to my knees in places. Heard sum noise at about 1 this morning and a taxi had got its self stuck outside, should have gone and helped but was crying with laughter:laugh1: Got a works christmas drink tonight which might be interesting.

  12. I remember when doing my tickets i got my saw stuck, instructor had a right go at me, started cutting to free my saw and got his stuck too:thumbup: justice! You need experience in this game, doing courses means little against experience.

  14. I'm certain they are rated the same as the side Ds, i use them over the side Ds as i have with many harnesses with lower bridge D attachments. I'll dig out the instuctions booklets once again though.
  15. Was in the shed last week and counted 10 different hitch cords, most haven't had much use as using 8mm beeline and sirius, bailout is next on the list to try.
  16. My 11mm velocity ran smoothly just a bit too smoothy, took an age to get any where on it. Moved down to 10mm ocean poly which seems a better size, haven't tried it on my blaze yet. Still not sold on it, i like it alot though.
