  9. you seem like a top employer:thumbup1: Being self employed I find it really hard to hold my tongue when friends bang on about how they "can't" get to work, if they weren't being paid they'd make the effort:sneaky2: I'm gagging to go back to work....
  10. I like the fact this has had 96 views but only 2 posts.......
  11. Some guys i work for in their 30s are now out of it due to the punishment their bodies have taken over their 10-15 year climbing spells. These are guys that were at the top of their game but had been busting it for big companies till getting out a few years ago to set up their own. Them taking a back seat is not what they want to be doing as they love climbing but the pain/damage they are doing isn't worth it. Been a real eye opener seeing them go down. On the flip side i know a guy in his late 40s whos going strong. I do believe its down to the different work and work methods from company to company and the way our bodies are bulit.

  14. Why wasn't he watched more closely? new guys need watching for a long time surely you could see what was going on? ash can be unforgiving, more so when you've got a pulling rope. YOU should have told him to dog tooth it, as he probably didn't even know what a barber chair was. but hell i dont know the whole story, but a wake up call for all involved.

  16. Welcome to the real world im afraid. If you're not happy walk, there are plenty of people (rightly or wrongly) willing to forgo having someone on the deck. As i'm sure i've said before having someone with 38 on the ground means nothing, its down to you to get yourself down.
  17. Hated tachyon when it first came out, love it now.
  18. What do your instincts tell you? if you dont feel confident jumping up it don't. gut feelings count for alot with this kinda work, in my opinion. I'd anchor in to the connie near by, cut n chuck it down......or just straight through the back and see where it goes
  19. Sharpenings one of my least favourite tasks, so not as often as i should. Though i do quite enjoy tidying up other peoples "sharpening".
