  1. Keep busy there is no excuses for standing around watching or chatting, there is always something to do, even if its just looking busy. Work hard, don't compain, watch(whilst being busy), listen and you'll be one of the select excellent groundsmen. you'll love it:thumbup1: also don't leave stuff in the drop zone!
  2. looks great Kevin, thought the F8 was a brilliant idea that needed a little something to make it better......this looks like it! top marks man:thumbup:
  3. someones on top of their game, fracture prunings all the rage these days
  4. Top notch as ever man, looked tricky.
  5. Good choice dude:thumbup:
  6. Haven't taken any photos for ages sunrise over Brighton and a diddy little gum reduction
  7. Saw one in action a few years ago with built in chipper, brilliant idea.
  8. Heads up

    Celox

I carry quickclot which is a similar product. Its a last resort treatment, if dressings and pressure aren't stopping the flow THEN this gets broken out.
  9. I've got one knocking about somewhere, seeing as i can't actually whistle i should probably find it.
  10. Top notch Reg looks very user friendly and time saving. like!
  11. Was nice to see DED high lighted but i found the commentry misleading, they made it sound as if this year was its first outing since the 70s. DED strikes bad EVERY year in brighton, it is slowly removing the elm population year on year. I actually think this year has been slightly better than the last couple from what i've seen. In terms of TV they could have filmed a much better takedown theres a bigg'un near the pavilion thats going to need to come out, would make a better video.
  12. Gustards are having a sale on ART gear...hintiti hint hint
  13. Throw em through the chipper before they call claims direct:001_tt2:
  14. Classic huck, serves the bugger right
  15. I'll chime in for the airstreams had mine about 15months now and theres still life in them. Considering that i regularly walk to and from work (4 miles either way) and the beating they take during the working day I'm impressed. Add to that their the most comfortable chainsaw boots i've worn.
  16. 18mtr blaze, 37mtr tacyon/bluemoon both with XT+ hitchclimber. 7mtr long fly lanyard with ART positioner off the lower Ds on the treemotion, even for chogging down. never found the best length for a strop started with 3mtrs, went down to 2, then 5, 3.5, 4, 7 now thinking of going back to 5:001_rolleyes:
  17. I'm a girl then:001_tt2: strangely i can deal with them at work.....but in the house, no chance
  18. Miss judged a conny and snatched a top into a phone line pulling the facia, soffet and some tiles off in the process. cut and chucked a heavier than expected conny branch straight into an ornamental bench thingy. And macrocarpas! nigh on everytime i've been involved with working on them somethings gone wrong. bits dropped on saws, taking out phone lines, slings slipping off, best/worst was a bit tearing off a crane as i came in to turn it and hitting one of the guys truck, close call for me though.
  19. People are stupid end of last Thrusday closed a road off, cones, signs, the works, old bloke carefully drives round said cones which are slap bang in the middle of the road. Tapped on window "Excuse me, theres a reason this roads been closed (pointing to remains of tree and large pile of logs),hence the signs and cones in the road" said i. "WHAT SIGNS AND CONES?!" was his reply you cannot win:001_rolleyes:
  20. I never have as of yet, but i've seen it done a few times and 50% of those times i would have possibly done the same.
  21. Just don't try any willow reductions dude:lol: 6ish ft 12ish stone
  22. You could/can buy it with either, got mine with the cocoon but then you need to buy the little plastic cap that sits ontop to get it to retrieve.
