  1. Mouldy old banana skins
  2. It doesn't really matter if you pay cash into your account or not, as long as you declare it. I've never paid any in for years. I just keep it at home and declare it in my books.
  3. Yes we have one, as there's no gas in out area. We replaced out old 1970's boiler with a new one about 4 years ago. It's a lot more economical, with no problems with it at all yet. Ours is a boiler made by grant, which get quite good reviews.
  4. Check the music, if you have loads of music on there, you may have to delete some. You can see how much space it's using. Not sure how, but it's quite easy. I found that music was the biggest culprit for taking space.
  5. Was just looking at them. Will give them a ring.
  6. I need some new pads for my old (20 years) Buckingham spikes. Was thinking of going with the Velcro pads. Will these fit my old spikes, are they good, and what's the difference between pads with metal inserts and those without.
  7. Yes, I have, and your right it was an absolute pig to get out. The problem being that the plate warps with heat. I ended up going in with the angle grinder, just to get the thing out. Ground down the sides and thought it would be ok to get out the following year, but it had warped again. Nowadays, I clean the chimney from the top down. This avoids taking the plate out. Wishing you the best of luck, you may need it!!!!
  8. I had the exactly the same problem. I ended up getting a new bar, and compared the width of the rails to each other. The ones on the old bar were quite a bit wider than on the new bar. Problem fixed.
  9. Always remember them
  10. Out, out, out. I've been saying it for at least 10 years now. Finally, people are beginning wake up to the damage being done to this country by being in the EU.
  11. I neather agree or disagree with what your saying. But people often blame products such as glyphosate without thinking of their own environmental impact. For example, the computer or phone you wrote this post on, had to be manufactured, by various industrial processes, the power needed to recharge it has to be produced, and finally it has to be disposed of. All of this is not going to do the environment any good.
  12. Sorry to put a dampner on it, but I thought stihl had a much debated face to face handover policy to make sure their customers got the very best service. What's happened to that stihl???????
  13. I also played today. Wish I had Greg Normans talent. Even if he only has one hand, he'd still beat me. Never mind, There's always next week!!!!
  14. I have the chance to but an avant 320. This is the skid steer version. Ive never driven a skid steer. Has anyone used this model ? What's it like to drive compared to the other avants
  15. Glad you liked it
  16. Berlin: the downfall, 1945 by Anthony beever. Pretty interesting book about the Russian onslaught on Berlin at the end of ww2
  17. You won't be the first or the last to do that. Never cut myself yet, but have had a number of near misses over the years. We'll done for posting.
  18. What's been wrong with your old entec. Mine's always gone really well, apart from the odd little niggle here and there. Have no plans to change it.
  19. I'm not sure but I think pezzolato are rebranded over here as arbor eater. Stand to be corrected though.
  20. It does have an arbor eater look about it. If it is, you will need all the luck in the world. Mine was also absolute rubbish.
  21. Concerning this country, is there any wonder it's overpopulated. I personally don't believe there should be any child benefit payments, or incentives to have children. Why should the government subsidise you to have children? Surely, you should only be having kids if YOU and not the government can support them.
  22. I went vat registered by choice a few years ago now, and have absolutely no regrets at all. I find the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.
  23. Personally, I would never dream of taking pictures of someone else's work and putting it on the internet, to try and hinder them trading. I would take a lot more pleasure in putting my work on the internet, in an effort to promote my work. Just my opinion though.
  24. You will never stop them. Forget about them. There are cowboys in every trade. Concentrate on doing a professional job yourself, and business wise you should be ok.
  25. I had to have a new one a couple of years ago. Was about £300 including fitting if I remember. To be honest, I would not like to use mine without the no stress. Save yourself the hassle and get one fitted properly, unless you know a bit about chippers.
