1. As someone with quite an interest in Military history, I Just wondered how many of you out there have relations who fought during ww2. For starters: my grandfather drove an armoured D8 bulldozer, through France. (spent around a month in Caan as the allies got bogged down there) Went through Holland and into Germany. (Got shot through the shoulder during Rhine crossing at Wesel). Met up with the Russians at Lubeck. Later he was posted to Palestine and helped clean up the damage when The King David Hotel was bombed.
2. I've been sharpening mine for about 7 years with my bench grinder and jig. Never had a rotor bearing in yet.
3. shouldn't that be 'fruit loops'
4. From Chisholm
5. So, lets say you already have CS30/31 and 32, but have not refreshed in over 5 years. If you then do CS33, (and pass) you will automatically be classes as having being refreshed in 30/31/32?
6. Don't think hedge hunter will be replying for a while.
7. "your short on ears and long on mouth" "That'll be the day" "If your looking for trouble, I'll accommodate ya" All John Wayne
8. I think it's last 3 years, least it was when I first registered.
9. watch what your taking. Too many certain painkillers can give you stomach ulcers. Am speaking from personal experience.
10.
Hi there. Leave it with me a day or so and I'll try to remember where I got a replacement from

11. Chris, I'm completely baffled by the question What on earth are you doing on holiday in Grassington??? It's only about 10 miles from where you live. Sorry, can't help with the syc
12. A good piece of kit. Like someone else said, the plastic brackets are a bit weak. Would buy another, but a heavier duty one would be better. A bit too much plastic to break.
13. If it's bacterial canker you should be able to notice a treacle-like ooze coming from infected areas. Very common disease. If it's on the main stem there's not much you can do really. If it's on infected branches, suppose you could prune them out. Personally, I'd probably leave it alone. If it gets worse, think about tree replacement. If not, just live with it.
14. I'm in the same position as you. I've a very reliable L200, so we took a test drive in the Mitsubishi ASX (4x4). Both very impressed.
15. A book about Nazi hunter Simon weisenthal.
16. Try Greentech, York. Mesh guards are nothing but a pain in the rear end. Thorns/branches etc get caught up in the mesh when your putting the guards on. Pain in the neck to fix to post (staple). I have used both many times (clients provided them), but would never, repeat never buy mesh guards myself. I'd go for Tubex (or Tubex-type) guards every time.
17. Gardenkit: That sounds right. Cheers
18. Funny, but Iv'e just read that link Steve. This was the 'bit more research' that I mention in previous post.
19. newer one is supposed to be better on diesel. Weather is wet at moment. On the VAT thing I've been doing a bit more research, and I don't think I would have to charge VAT if I sold it, only on any profit I made from the sale (hardly likely)
20. Well, its the same as my old one, but 2008, with 33000 on the clock. Mines 2004, with about 80000. As you know, not too bothered about anything too fancy, as I only end up scratching them. How's yours going?
21. I'm setting off early tomorrow, so anymore opinions???
22. I'm a bit confused, as I bought an L200 (no VAT on it), before I was VAT registered. If I sell that, according to HMRC I don't have to pay VAT on that. Would ring them again, but they close at 6.
23. I'm VAT registered and am interested in buying a commercial vehicle, which is being sold with no VAT (L200). My question is: when I eventually sell it, do I charge VAT on it?
24. According to BBC news, scientists have found gold particles in eucalyptus trees that are located over gold deposits in Australia. Thinking of moving over there. The plan: Chip trees, place chips in kiln, burn chips and just watch the gold run out of bottom. money really does grow on trees.
