We are currently seeking self employed contractors for tree felling work on contract to the forestry commission so must have NPTC tickets and have recieved a refresher NPTC course within three years also must have own transport and insurance cover, we are baised in Corby Northamptonshire and pay will be on a day rate, if intrested please e mail us on : [email protected]

Just had a meeting with the Forestry Commission and been told that i need to re do all of my NPTC units every 5 years to continue contracting to the FC, cant believe that I am going to pay re do all of my tickets its going to cost a fortune been doing the job for 15 years now so i think i know what i am doing?

  5. Im thinking of getting one of these alaskan mill I home of the portable chainsaw mill timber milling attachments to fit my stihl ms 66 just wanted to know has anyone got one and are thay any good ?
  6. Transit van load were charging £100 for hardwood well split think were a bit too cheep
  7. We have a problem round our way with farmers doing tree work with a tractor and tralor thay seem to get all the easy jobs and beat us on price as thay can do the work when thay have a day spare from there farm work.
