  8. i do like them, i think anything with tracks is ace! but for day to day work for us at the moment, we might only need a tracked machine 3 or 4 days a year, id definatly be open to giving it a 2nd chance . . perhaps on a weeks demo though
  9. it was a demo machine with not many hours on either-if i thought it was far superior to the 150, we'd have got it, but i thought the performance compared to a 150, and the downsides of a tracked machine wernt worth getting it
  10. same i guess found that the rollers kept getting jammed, was over a year ago now, but remember not being overly impressed with it comparing it to the 150, i thought i should have been more impressive than i was

  15. give that van a wash! thanks 18 stoner, best make a start on my box this week, any tips from you??!!
  16. rob, what was that drill bit you had for drilling out blanks to hide the screw heads called? gonna have to build a lean too now to store the wood, making too many planks, and storing in sheds there isnt enough wind flow to prevent mould!
  17. and sawdust!!!
  18. we had some concrete ones to attatch to trees on the edge of a construction site, they were supplied with a bit of thick curved wire to loop round the trunk. tbh i think a tree tie round the trunk, and some wire to attatch box to tie would be better
  19. as peter says, timberwolf support is good round this area. 30 hours? go for it, the one i use was brought new a year or so ago, now 350 hours, only one small eletrical problem
