  4. i like the figures, but it still looks limp wristed
  5. i built and repaired literally hundreds of ATV and foot bridges, by far the best was the mesh niftysteve mentioned, on the ATV bridges we just cut down the middle with a grinder, and stapled them on inline with the wheel tracks, the foot bridges, stapled on to within 6inch of the edge. chicken wire is too loose, not enough volume of grip, frays easily and becomes a mess, weld mesh is harder to apply well, and depending on the build of the bridge, wont follow contours aswell pics of ATV bridge work with the mesh following the bridge contours
  6. theres nothing stopping you working, or looking for work as a groundie
  7. first off do the course, you should be provided with the kit, then when you do the course, youll understand what you actually NEED, and what bits are used for, whats an expensive gimmick, and whats good value. if you start buying the kit with no knowledge, it can be a VERY expensive and uncomfortable mistake enjoy it p.s have a look, try stuff on, but DONT buy yet!!

  17. jack front left, and rear right wheel off the ground and support with axle stands, put in diff lock, and slowley engage first low on tick over, the wheels off the ground should rotate, now try and hold one of the slowley spinning wheels, if you can and only the un-held wheel spins, diff isnt working, if you cant hold the wheel, (dont try too hard!) diffs working (very dangerous btw!)
  18. . if a half shaft has gone, you wont go anywhere without difflock. does youre diff lock light illuminate? if you put it in diff lock, and turn on tarmac, does it scrub tyres/jump/smash transfer box to 1000 pieces?
  19. with no diff lock, a landrover is actually 1 wheel drive, with center diff it is 2wd, (1 wheel on each axle)
