  1. i reckon youre just going to wear it all day for when someone winds you up-you got video evidence
  2. low on oil for a start, if its low the light will go out with revs. find out where its leaking, dont use it untill you do
  3. its easier than you think, with ours you have to reverse it in as if youre reversing round a corner, so you can see the chipper in a mirror, i do it on a daily basis with wither a transit,7.5tonner, or 18 tonner hiab lorry. aslong as the chippers wheels are in 1 man can easily do it. might need some lighting or good work lamps wired into youre reverse lights for when its dark though
  4. we have ramps, and just reverse it in
  5. good find!
  6. ask them for a demo, then you can decide for yourself

  11. i have a ND in countryside management, i instantly got a job with the rspb (although my felling experience was a large part in getting the job) i was fencing, coppicing and herding, pay was 13k per year. the people on the conservation side of our reserve had degrees in ecology ect, and were on 13k-17K per year, reserve manager around 25K people i went to college with who went on th the HND and degree, one has gone back to the family farm, one works in tescos, and the other is desperatly trying and getting knocked back for teaching jobs whilst working behind a bar its a lifestyle choice imo, as the pay is quite frankly rubbish, although the rent of £20 a week was a bonus!
  12. id be intrested in the rims but not the tyres-i want a wide footprint mud patern, bfg mt's preferabally the back will be a full chip box soon enough

  22. thanks for the comments, yeah i am pleased with it, yep a winch is on the wish list-a pto one, prob a husky superwinch as its already got the hand throttle and winch bumper:) i'll be more pleased when i get some decent tyres, and replace those crap sides for a nice smooth chip box, oh and fabricate a tool box to go into that gap in the middle with doors on both sides a micro chipper would be great, complimented by a tracked one, and an iveco, and a 4x4 crane lorry, and . . .

thats a fair comment steve, i guess in fairness i must sound like the above joe bloggs "sod paying £600 for them to fell that tree, i'll do it myself!" haha
  24. yeah i know, i brought it with them on unfortunatly, when i can splash out 600 smackers on a set of wheels and tyres i will

but then again its all about skills-if joe bloggs has the skills to take down a tree himself, he's going to take the tree down himself, if youve got the skills to convert vehicles to a tipper, then why not???
