    Sheared Bolt

think its a heli coil kit you need (?) the thing you tap with a hammer, sheared bolt turns, twist out, name escapes me!
  2. for £200 max id do it when i do a job for a family member not far from you later this year . . .get saving!
  3. that was great fun . . . untill i saw jamies face when i went over that logpile
  4. brilliant saw, i run a 25 inch bar on mine no problem, my mate with a 20 do it . . . go on . . buy it
  5. theres no way id go out without a 200t, the 200 has set a high bench mark, just wondering if anyones got one and their opinions
  6. like every tool, they have their place dave
  7. your a big lad i seem to remember:001_smile:
  8. just going on stated book price for both . .
  9. get it on youre backside then sanny, dont go visiting anyone in prison, they'll think youre a resident
  10. im sure we dont need it peter, as driving isnt our job, tree work is
  11. at the saw shop today, they got out a new T345 and asked for my opinions (basically trying to flog it!) heres mine wierd balance compared to MS200T an inch wider, seems bulkier, but nice (?) shape for pulling through forks seems flimsy horrible chain brake mechanism, flimsy handle, stiff opperation but book price MS200T £615 ish (inc the june 9% rise) book price T435 £420 near enough a £200 difference, which is a lot! whats youre opinions? now this is aparantly a new saw, so shouldnt be anything like the old husky toppers also got them to ask husqvarna for a demo saw, and my name to be at the top of the list
  12. put youre details and experience on this thread, and maybe you'll get lucky
  13. i wanted to say that ian! if chogging down i much prefer to get a bigger more powerfull saw than over use a little motor
  14. yeah, its plausable, so im happy ian, thats the one trade of mate i dont have-a mechanic! a randy little blonde female one would be nice . . . dean, if my welding could have welded the rusty old exhaust, it wouldnt have a cat now!
  15. id happily use local buisnesses if they offer good service . . but our local saw shop is utterly useless, they never have any of the consumables like clutch springs, air filters, anti-vibe rubbers, 12inch ms200t bars in stock, they then have to order them, mess up the order (gaurenteed), re order, 2 weeks later i may if im lucky get hold of it, on the internet on the otherhand, 3 days and the same cheaper parts are at my door . . if the local buisnesses got their act together, i would use them 0:001_smile:
  16. id recomend them too . . miles better than our local useless dealer who never is able to make a 36inch chain fit a 36 inch bar
  17. well im now happy in my head now, after wondering how on earth a radiator would just blow up, my guy has said he took it for a drive to get the catalytic converter nice and warm to help pass the emissions, left it running to keep cat warm when he dropped it off, now he (and i too) think that the radiator cap was faulty-if pressure builds up its the caps job to release the excess pressure, if its faulty then the pressure builds up and has to go some where, so when they reved it to move it to the mot bay then reved it for emissions, it must have been a touch too much . . atleast its now a plausable account to what happened did knock him down a fair bit though . . from £350 for cash down to £250 . . .250 for a years motoring=70p a day? not bad looking at it like that
  18. sold some racing wheels to a bloke in germany who was willing to pay more than uk bidders as exchange rate was so good for him. . . money first then post or no sale
  19. petrol, not diesel, if in neutral it wont go over 3500rpm as a safety feature i'll grin and bear it unless more is revealed tommorrow
