  7. if you saw a vehicle you wanted for sale for say 4 grand, and you knew it was 3 grand below its true value, would you go up to the seller and say heres 7 grand??? nope, diddnt think you would it was a true BARGIN, you dont get bargins by paying the full value of something well done that man
  8. i think theres two ways/types of door knockers, depends how the approach is, for example if i were to see a tree in someoned front garden, deader than dead, posing a hazard to the public, i dont think it would be wrong to knock on the door, inform them of the risk, introduce youre company and leave a card, no pressure, give us a call for a quote, have a good day but theres the knockers that go cold calling, pressurise the owner you know the sort and look at it another way, every job you or a reputable company does is one less job for the gypo types

  22. could i not just keep the vehicle running? would that power pack be man enough to run a splitter steve? i'll ask the hydraulic bloke what he reckons when i go see him!
  23. ok is that simple/do-able without affecting the tipper? would the basic idea work? i.e can you power a decent hydraulic log splitter off a tipper?
  24. heres a question for you log splitter hydraulic boys. . . starting to convert my 130 to a tipper, seeing as im off to the local hydraulic bloke to get the power pack mated to the ram soon(they were sourced sepperatly), would it be feesable to have some quick release couplings on the power pack end, then be able to unplug the tipper, and plug in the splitter to run off the tippers hydraulic pack? the power pack used to run a 2tonne hiab, so presumabally its used to reppitive movements/continious work? could that work?
  25. nice little day drip anyway! good pics
