  7. if "pitch place" is still on the list phil, go for that place, nice little 3 bed type cottage thing in the grounds of a big house, near to the pub in worplesdon with a decent sized beech the owners let you climb
  8. check the little wire gauze filter in the carb? HT lead broken? (occasionally the 2 broken bits may touch-i.e when checking for spark)
  9. may be wrong, but i dont think they have the metal dog teeth which are a great help when cutting, unlike the pro series
  10. if you go for a conventional cambium saver, id go for one with an oval mallion + big eye rather than a little eye + big eye, as stitched eyes dont fit through a little eye, but do fit through an oval mallion
  11. bits- rope stuff plastic spacer things protective sheath (to be cut to size) dildo lube if its the older stuff circular date tag-possibly shrink wrap shrink wrap an end of the rope stuff (i cut rope to length in the tree) insert plastic things into rope by opening rope by pushing together, slide over protective sheath which youve cut to size to suit the limb/trunk, wrap round trunk/limb with spacer against limb/trunk, tail needs to be long enough to be inserted about a foot, taken out, a small loop made and inserted again for a bit, and pull end out a few inches insert dildo in middle, use lube if tight offer up other end of rope to and around limb, slide over date tag if applicable, insert plastic thing, then cut to size, repeat as above i find electric tape better than shrink wrap, and inserting as much as possible of spacers/dildos before i go up-easy enough to slide them along if not in right place
  12. A high profile council tree on the edge of a park(?)? IMO because of the shape, it looks butchered. . . sorry! A deadwood, balance remaining crown to shape and remove ivy would have been my spec
