  1. or garage doors
  2. how about the manharness or artilleryman's hitch? this was used for hauling field guns into position as it allowed shoulder loops to be created along the length of the rope and allowed the hands to remain free. I think it appears in pretty much any knot book.
  3. why not use a krab in your current mid-line knot mark?
  4. you could ask monkey d as he has a trewhella and i'm pretty sure he'll know the swl for it. Although as a rule of thumb the statement about two men put it on and two men must take it off is pretty much on the mark. These things bite and can be very unforgiving.
  5. ed, i wonder if your comment about old ladies back doors comes under this thread?
  6. i think it was actually bramham park that did this scott as it was mick rhodes' lads who did it and they do the majority of bramham's work as far as i know.
  7. i think leeds city council have one as i've seen it coming out of their depot near me. bright yellow with all the proper signing on it.
  8. i thought they were pictures of you in your youth there johnny
  9. right one to left: if we're in that white thing i'm not coming because the human won't let me sit on his knee in this state.
