I do a fair bit of fencing work and to be quite honest I think the BT45 was worth every penny and is infinately better than my makita, especially on hardwood jobs. There's nothing worse than hearing your last battery starting to fade half way through a job. I only use hex bits. As others have suggested, there is no hammer action so you'll only burn out SDS bits.

Brings back memories; when I did my assessment it was icy and only briefly got above 0, it snowed, it rained, it was gusty and we felled near a train track (suprisingly), but I loved it. one of the most significant days of my working life and the sun came out at the end. For anone reading this thread, the assessors really want to pass every one. You only have to prove your up to it so breath and enjoy

Cheers all, From what I can tell, the static strops seem to be 50" and bungees tend to go up to 58". May be worth trying both.

Hi all, I'm new to climbing and I'm doing CS39 at the end of this month. I need a chainsaw bungee but I'm not sure what length to get:confused1:. I'm 6'3" tall. Any advice would be much appreciated:thumbup:
