    grizzly, firstly welcome to the forum and secondly you're the same age as me and i've only just started to get into the climbing side of arb and i'm starting to get reasonably comfortable with it but i need to lose a couple of inches to do myself justice

  10. great for groundies as well for chipper operations for just whipping off that awkward branch that keeps jamming in the feed chute.. I also use it when i'm doing any gardening and cutting back shrubs as it means i don't put the scabbard down and then lose it under a pile of pyracanthus or hawthorn.

  12. i notice you can now get celox gauze bandages. i saw the little article about it in this months EA. all the advantages of celox with the convenience of a bandage.
  13. a couple of years back there was a big pipeline going through near where i live and all the lads that were working on it were drinking in my local and they were saying that it's company policy that anybody working outdoors has to wear at least spf40 sunBLOCK and sunglasses and long sleeved polo shirts. i just use ambre solaire sport spf 40.

  16. justin, i was just wondering if there would be room for me to pitch a tent at capel as i seem to have left it a bit late for booking the hotel. i can do a couple of hours on the stand if this would be necessary.

  17. brooklands was owned by vickers during WWII as thats where barnes wallis had his drawing office when he designed the bouncing bomb so would have been a prime target for the luftwaffe and easy to spot with that massive banked track.

  22. i came home on the back of a big aa wagon:sneaky2: not this year as i have given up the landy and the van and got myself an L200 double cab as i'm hoping to start on a foundation degree in september so need a reliable motor to get to and from college. going to give it a good run down to capel, not sure if the future mrs penfold will be coming or not.
