    we had one of these at houghall in the late 90s. a right vicious *** when it wanted to be but good fun to use.

  10. the best thing about the combi is you can split it into two parts (or three if using the extension pole) and stick it in the back of the disco where it's secure rather than sat on the back of a trailer or van where any ne'er-do-well can lift it.
  11. the mod are buying these now as the main logistics vehicles so must be fairly good i would say.

    grizzly, firstly welcome to the forum and secondly you're the same age as me and i've only just started to get into the climbing side of arb and i'm starting to get reasonably comfortable with it but i need to lose a couple of inches to do myself justice

  20. great for groundies as well for chipper operations for just whipping off that awkward branch that keeps jamming in the feed chute.. I also use it when i'm doing any gardening and cutting back shrubs as it means i don't put the scabbard down and then lose it under a pile of pyracanthus or hawthorn.

  22. i notice you can now get celox gauze bandages. i saw the little article about it in this months EA. all the advantages of celox with the convenience of a bandage.
  23. a couple of years back there was a big pipeline going through near where i live and all the lads that were working on it were drinking in my local and they were saying that it's company policy that anybody working outdoors has to wear at least spf40 sunBLOCK and sunglasses and long sleeved polo shirts. i just use ambre solaire sport spf 40.
