  1. Our family car is a vitara and we are on our second one. The top of the range has 4wd as an optional extra. Can't fault ours. Nice to drive and fairly good on fuel.
  2. I live in the same town as Twisted so often see their creations burbling through town or roaring up the A19.
  3. The last place I worked at we had two of these; one was like the picture and the other was mounted on a Marooka tracked dumper.

  6. Where I work we do a lot of high speed roads and so we get memos from people like Balfour Beatty etc about this sort of thing and apparently if the vehicle isn't white then it requires the waist stripe and the beacon needs to be visible through 360 degrees.

  11. the husky helmet I was issued with at work is basically a rebranded jsp helmet with msa muffs and visor.

  13. your college will probably organise a trip to the APF and you'll be able to try on all the different makes and shop around for the best price.
  14. Don't I know it. My 54 plate dc decided that it would drink all the coolant in the rad and then seize solid. this was after the turbo was replaced. Since then been a bit easier on fuel but not much (roughly 25mpg).
  15. not got any myself but have often toyed with the idea of blood group on arm or shoulder blade.

    Bankers have played both sides in a war since time immemorial but it started on a big scale during the Napoleonic Wars with the Rothschild family bankrolling both sides. Whichever side wins the banks win.

  20. The fact that the leaves are hairy and hold onto air pollution well, which is why they were planted in the first place, which could also be the trigger for your relatives discomfort.
  21. I wear glasses as well but I also have a pair of prescription safety glasses.
  22. mesh and safety specs and a buff to protect the lower face is what we use where I work.
