  2. Before and After are supposed to be the dogs dangly bits.
  3. Hope the dogs don't mind sharing their beds
  4. you better get used to food that looks radioactive if moving to the Middlesbrough area. Have a look at the Wikipedia entry for Parmo:thumbup1:
  5. Not to mention the chainsaw air guitar:001_tt2:
  6. Green writing on cream card and with the card in portrait aspect, just makes it stand out when displayed with other cards in landscape.
  7. People seem to forget that the poppy appeal is ongoing throughout the year, not just two weeks in October/November, I wear a poppy all year round in the form of a poppy appeal wristband alongside my H4H wristband.
  8. My 600 lifted a 2" thick yorkstone flag when I was blowing a footpath. Bit of a shock seeing the flagstone hovering:001_huh:

  13. And using glyphosate or any other stump treatment just seems to feed the buggers.
  14. I'll believe that when these three squadrons of flying elephants land.
  15. I remember being at Fairford when the MiGs collided in mid-air. There was no loss of life but all the cars had to use one entrance as wreckage had blocked the other. Finally got off the airfield at 11-00pm after the stewards and RAF police had filtered about sixteen lanes of traffic down to one. The cause of that was that one of the migs had lost height due to the weather that day which was very similar to those at shoreham. Thoughts and prayers are with all involved.
  16. Monkeybusiness is right about the electricity lads; speaking as a utility arb surveyor, if the maintenance lads don't butcher it, the resilience lads will be along to do the parish councils dirty work for them.
  17. I think ISA uses a points system for its certified arborist programmes.
  18. This was summed up quite nicely in Yes, Minister by Sir Humphrey. (would have attached the appropriate link but it never seems to work for me.)
  19. Try a razorback conversion. they're used for motor bike recovery and delivering hospital beds etc. They look like a panel van but the load bed floor lowers to ground level.
