  6. As rob rainford has said if you're already enrolled on a course you're not affected. I've just finished my 1st year of a foundation degree at askham bryan and we have been told that our fees won't go up even if we do a top-up year.

  11. Just my hands at the moment janey. My gp doesn't think it is related to havs but it hasn't been helped by using power tools. i only drink the odd cup of tea during the day and probably a couple of pints a week unless its a special occasion. i dont smoke and never have so that isn't a problem really. My gps husband has reynauds so she gave me some really good advice but i dont want to go down the medication route so i might give the gingko a try. i do use a fishermans hand cream made with honey extracts and i try and wear gloves as much as possible. i just wondered if there was anything else i could be doing.
  12. i've just been diagnosed with reynaud's syndrome in my hands. Anyone else with this and what do you recommend to keep hands warm.

  16. Spent the day on the set of kay mellor's last piece 'A passionate woman' with sue johnston, alun armstrong and a couple more. It was when i had the landy and they needed a land rover from the period (mid 80's) to tether the hot air balloon to but it was too windy to inflate the envelope so i was just lurking in case the weather got better. the grub was top notch and i was chatting with alun armstrong. and the pay wasn't bad either:biggrin:
  17. anyone had any experience of N and J Aluminium Linings?
  18. I note that the workmen started under the cover of darkness 'so they could make an early start'. Also why are they not letting anyone see the centrepiece of the memorial which is in storage so its condition can be verified.
  19. i get similar symptoms whenever there are foxgloves around (often the first thing to disappear under the strimmer:laugh1:) I use a herbal tablet which is non-drowsy called Pollena by nelsons, i think it is available in most health shops like holland and barrett.
  20. the other lads were probably too shocked to do anything, i mean you don't expect that when you're working.
  21. will we be treated to a display of 020 guitar playing, mark?
  22. unfortunately missing out on all that this year due to lack of funds and exams the following week. Hope you lot have a good time and the Pied Bull has enough staff on this time:sneaky2:
  23. How about an RB44?
  24. if you use power point, tony, just remember that less is better when it comes to your slides and also use animations on your slide so that as you come to a subject it appears on the board.
