  11. Hi everyone, I’ve recently taken on the role of National Account Manager for Northern England and Scotland at Lantra, and I’m keen to get a feel for what things are really like on the ground from those working in arboriculture and forestry. I’m particularly interested in hearing your experiences around: Demand for training in your area — are there specific courses or skills in high demand? Finding trainers — have you found it easy or difficult to get the right trainers for the courses you need? Availability — are courses available when you need them, or do you face long waits? Travel — are most training opportunities within a reasonable commuting distance, or do you have to travel far? I want to understand this from your point of view so I can help ensure the right training is available, in the right places, at the right time. Any insights, frustrations, or positive stories would be really appreciated — either as a reply here or via DM if you prefer. Thanks in advance, Katy
  12. Good luck what ever you decide to go with next peter.

  17. Sany have got some horrendous adverts running atm. They were doing quite well I thought, positioning themselves as an increasingly credible bridge between established western brands and high end Chinese. And then just flushed a few years of work down the toilet for a couple of cheap videos narrated by a synthesised woman talking about the 21 tonne digger on the screen (actually 2.1 tonnes). Wrote themselves off to me for another decade INSTANTLY.
  18. Good luck with that one, looking at the photo.

  24. Thanks for your responses guys. I'm really trying to get an idea of how well made this machine is, and how it might handle say, wet conifer/gnarly hawthorn ? I suspect maybe poorly, like our old gravity fed machine, than our timber wolf 150 -but the various machine owners in the Somerset area must know, first-hand.. 🤔 TIA
  25. Looks like a Constable painting.
  26. Yes definitely de-stressed the bearings as the workshop manual states. Thanks.
  27. Highly unlikely unless it was near full power back in the day and now has some trick delrin parts and a decent higher rated mainspring. What is it...Meteor, Mercury or Airsporter?
