  2. We have one used it twice the chain is far to aggressive for the size of the machine and the bar length if you don’t hold it tight with both hands it will rip it of your grasp,The stihl gt40 much better to use ,I am a big Milwaukee fan but not of this ,
  3. Husqvarna needlecage bearings are still made from metal, Stihl only changed them around the time they updated to MS261/362 etc from the earlier models.

  6. I managed to get the saw started on idle, but when revs were applied and released it cut out and the fuel was leaking out of the air filter housing.
  7. I think I've been engaging in bellendery and confused the two measurements on the feeler gauges. So with a cool head I reset the valves cold then ran it up and reset them warm. It now runs better but lots of resistance on starting, to the point of snatching the starter cord. Tick over still a little high with it coughing at times. VID_20250816_124754.mp4
  8. I generally grow the things that I cant buy readily here in the shops, very hot chillis, Padron peppers, and oddly, mange tout. This year I’m growing Okra for the first time, so far dead easy, lush plants just starting to produce an abundant crop, pretty flowers also.
  9. Bet those beams weigh a fair bit. 😂
  10. It's basically putting pressure on Zelensky to make a deal - a third of Ukraine probably. The West wasn't prepared to shed blood over this, only give up some supplies
  11. Hello, would anyone have a Lucas mill they'd be interested in selling? A 10-30 or an 8-30 would be perfect. Nooie
  12. I looked at one of these online, they have a video of it running. It looks painstakingly slow. My CS100 is significantly quicker, but lacks the feed roller and anti stress. I did request a demo, living near Carlisle, nothing came of it though and ai didn't follow up. The GL&D looks a a far better small chipper, also double the price...
  13. They are. They're at the yard but I'll get back to you on Monday about that.
  14. Missed a few days, been in a field in Heacham. This is my 1000th wordle. Wordle 1,519 4/6* 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

  17. I know, and they seemed surprised when I told I didn't want to go ahead. Funnily enough a friend took a still in and they did a great job by all accounts!!

  19. its down to the humidity.
  20. Basically it can't comply to the European Normative Standard that splices are tested in accordance with. It might be a different story in other parts of the world. I'm not saying it's unsafe to climb on, it's just difficult to prove that it IS safe. Reach out to the supplier and ask if their splicer has been trained by Courant.
  21. Give them a ring and they have some good relationships with people and they can quite often arrange for you to go and see one nearish you.
  22. I’ve used Ecoplugs on side growths and suckers, and they work well if applied correctly. Drilling at the right angle into the stem and ensuring the plug sits flush is key for effective herbicide delivery. They’re cleaner and more targeted than spray treatments, especially in sensitive areas where drift or overspray could be a problem.

  26. I used to plant lots of trees in Denmark but they never used to start things until early April which seems late by UK standards it's maybe because in the past they were used to long winters. Sometimes there would be stuff to do in November/ December but not as much
