Hi Why not just get a 2.7 tonner legal weight to tow and far greater lifting capacity if buying second hand there isn't much difference in price and you'd maybe be better off with a grab rotator for the extra few quid makes moving materials easier you'd be better off posting in show us your arb diggers and Stephen Blair or LGP Eddie will be able to give you all the advice you need Jack
  3. I always ask 25% of the quote upon booking then the day the work starts I want 50% of the remaining balance upfront and the final 50% once completed and customer is satisfied ? I've been screwed over by a few folk so I always cover my own back now and I always get everything in black and white no verbal agreements there is a lot of good people out there on both parties but there is also bad aswell Jack

  5. When I first started on building sites I didn't have my utr number so was taxed at 30% and once I got my number and I done my taxes for the year I got the 10% extra back Jack

It needs a good firm knock to get wound out I replace my heads every 12-18 month there only £25-£30 because the springs loose their strength and that's when it all starts coming out on its own I use mine without a guard I've got the head on my fs300 & my fs70r absolutely brilliant they are imo you can't go wrong with it Jack
  8. I know you say you don't like the bump feed heads but I use the stihl autocut c 26-2 and it's absolutely brilliant don't need to take apart to re fill and cuts really close to the ground without scalping and balanced perfectly really nice head might be worth a shot? Jack
  9. Have you tried l&s engineers or garden hire spares? 4180 350 0418 is the part number for it I think type it in on l&s and if its the one it's £31.65 Jack

Is it the ram tipper or the scissor one the ram is a lot more powerful than the scissor in my opinion out of curiosity does many people use the likes of tpuk or Facebook group transit city parts are so cheap and you can go to my local scrapyard and get rear axles for mk6/7 transit tippers for about £250/£300 and just about any other part aswell Jack

  12. I think I'm gonna get the yanmar on demo I use micros quite a lot and hate jcb 8008 style levers exact same controls just in a different position i without armrests that's why I'm being quite picky spoke to a few people with the takeuchi tb210r and really slow and gutless apparantley
  13. Is Doosan the maker of bobcat aswell the dx27 is exactly the same as the e26 & I'm sure someone said that bobcat are made by doosan but I could've heard wrong Jack

  16. Have you looked on l&s? They normally have genuine parts and sometimes offer aftermarket so you'd of thought if they recommend them they must be good Jack

  20. I've just seen it £3700 comes with muck grab bucket and post knocker aswell? The seller hasn't got any feedback so I'd be careful unless collecting but I wouldn't pay any deposits or anything ect Jack
  21. I've just found a 346xp brand new from Germany for £515 + £68 postage and import taxes so only £80-£90 more expensive than the £550xp but apparantley more reliable so going to get it ordered in a week or two when the founds allow Jack
  22. I love using the makita GN900SE really good weight and shoots nails in no bother I only use them for fencing and decking and find them perfect IMHO Jack
  23. There are a lot of sellers on ebay from Germany with brand new old style saws but they seem to be quite high priced though Jack
