  1. Think it’s 2.2 ton of type 1 to a m3 I get it from our local quarry £14 + vat I’d be going 200mm deep with stone so I’d put it down to 16 tonne Jack
  2. If it’s a 6 speed 135 tdci engine walk away never ever run right forever in limp mode there shit but transits themselves are a piece of piss to work on this week I’ve had 2 euro 5 trucks took the engines out and put euro 4 in because there more reliable then stripped the cabs out and had to change the wiring harnesses it’s a pig of a job but I love it 😂😂 Jack
  3. Non ferrous seems to be ok but the light / mixed is £120 ton heavy / plate & gurder is £160 so shite tbh Jack
  4. Don’t normally do chatter but I’ll tell you what the advice / education is brilliant and couldn’t be found elsewhere Jack
  5. Where you based at for collection? Jack
  6. Hi 👋 needing a new set of levels what are folk using? Needs to be a box profile with grab handles so can be used for screeding ect tried magnusson but they just fall to pieces I’ve been looking at the ox pro set but are they worth the money? Thanks Jack
  7. The way I see it the woman owns the land she bought it and it’s hers so I think the council have a right to say sweet f**k all but they can do as they please it’s a joke in all honesty you never really own anything because someone can always put the spokes in 🤦‍♂️ Jack
  8. What about a trailer with cages & just cut up? Big jobs hire a chipper I’d walk before I run personally Jack
  9. It varies in all honesty I do a fair bit of pressure washing. If the customer is happy for you to use their supply then do it, but you sometimes need to fill a drum and suck water from it as their water supply isn’t sufficiently putting the flow out you need and you end up burning pumps out. Sometimes the customer is on a water meter and want you to supply your own water so you just price accordingly I have 2 pressure washers a Brendon 20kpe 140 bar and a Brendon diesel road tow one with a bowser both used for different applications but wouldn’t be without either 👍 it’s nice when it’s going good but you do have problems now and then especially with tarmac & concrete. With the concrete people put salt down for killing slugs or ice ect and it damages the concrete then you come along with 2000 psi and start pressure washing then it starts flaking and peeling then the customer holds you liable for the damage or the tarmac has diesel & oil spilled on it and when your cleaning it lifts the soft spots then you’ve caused damages so it has it perks but also it’s downsides but I’ll be honest it’s easy work for good money Just to add that a lot of people’s patios are pointed with resin joint it it goes Green within 12 months and when you try to pressure wash it it blows out because they’ve just brushed it into the joints rather than pointed it properly Jack
  10. It isn’t cheap but I always use sika says it lasts 12 months but normally lasts 3-4 years and I’m right on the sea front so that’s with a lot of salt aswell Jack
  11. With regards to the Aco drains alls you need to do is pressure wash say a 1/3rd of the driveway then have a sweep with a stiff brush and get all the excess sand then say 2/3 repeat then on the last part pressure wash away from the acos have a sweep up then just mist all over with the pressure washer you’ll always get a bit of silt in the acos but give them a rinse with the pressure washer that’s how I do it and never had any problems it’s time consuming but saves any hearthache further down the line Jack
  12. It isn’t ideal but I’d be pressure washing the joints then spraying hydrochloric acid all over the drive leave 20 mins then pressure wash the driveway leave a few days to dry then re joint the sets kiln dry sand is only a couple of £ each then seal and it’ll last years I’d say that wire brush will score the sets and make a mess tbh never use one so happy to be corrected 👍 if you do seal don’t use cheap stuff from Screwfix because it’s just watered down Pva and drys terrible Jack
  13. Got my son Bartley a present got him a cane corso we’ve called her belle she’ll be coming to work with me he loves her Jack
  14. Can’t put brains where there’s no foundations 😂😂 Jack
  15. I had a lad running up and down the road trying to bump start a stihl saw? 😂 best part it was my Mrs father 😂🤣🤦‍♂️ Jack
  16. 3/8p 6t sprocket - 0000 640 2002 12” 3/8p .043 bar - 3005 000 3905 12” 3/8”p .043 chain - 3610 003 0044 Jack
  17. Sprocket 1/4” 8T -0000 640 2001 12” 1/4” bar - 3005 008 3405 12” 1/4” chain - 3670 000 0064 Don’t know if that’s what your meaning but that’s the part numbers to convert the pole pruner from 3/8p to 1/4” micro? @Connagh type them part numbers into Google or L & S engineers Jack
  18. I was actually thinking that when he said about it 😂 must have a crystal ball 🔮 Jack
  19. The last thing I’m going to say to you is get back on your keyring you troll 🧌 your obviously only here to cause arguments cba tbh deal with enough idiots in day to day life without coming onto a good forum to listen to a clown 🤡 ( @Kimosabi) this forum is full of genuine decent knowledgeable people and it’s knobheads like you who ruin it simple Jack
  20. You did reading your shitty comments you’ve got f**k all respect for the nhs & paramedics but as soon as you’re in need you’ll be there expecting to be first in queue. If you don’t think they’re worth a pay rise then you’re tapped in the head. I can honestly say I’d be lost without the nhs they saved my baby boys life & its thanks to paramedics and ambulance they were able to get him from the north west to the north east in a really timely manner and gave him the operation that saved his life I couldn’t thank them enough. the work they do is really challenging mentally & physically yet they get on with it they’ve got to sacrifice special occasions and family occasions to go to work for a low wage get hurled abuse at and they are obviously under appreciated by people Jack
  21. You’ll be a busy fool that’s all I’m saying 🤦‍♂️ I’m sure your @Vespasian under a new name / account he was a irritating c**t aswell Jack
