  1. Heard the izuzu dmax has a good towing capacity and reliable motors?
  2. Would something like this be a ok start up machine its 1800kg so could legally be towed ?
  3. At the minute we just use a vauxhall combo van as i do a lot of subbying to a big groundworks firm so i just use their wagons otherwise whennon my own jobs i have a mate with a 12 tonne dump trailer behind a tractor
  4. Could quite easily do that as i need a plant trailer anyways for my digger
  5. I heard something about old defender 90 having a 5 ton towing capacity or is that just a myth?
  6. No not at the same time i know that cant be done but if i could have a multi purpouse vehicle rather than just one designated vehicle for one job at the end of next year im getting a 7.5 Tonne tipper because the transit can only carry 3/4 ton on the back legally and i do lots of excavating and i rather use a 7.5 tonner tipper or a 32t grab wagon so the tipper isnt really essential also looked at a 4x4 transit and they are priced far far to high
  7. Can all 4x4's tow 3500kg or can some tow more than the other?
  8. At the minute i am just looking at rather a used tw150 or a greenmech arborist 150
  9. Hi all I do a lot of landscaping and groundworks but i am wanting to move into tree work i am booking my cs30/31/38/39 for the start of next year and was just wandering what people suggest as a vehicle at the minute i have a lad who is driving a vauxhall combo but it is far to small and in sufficient as when were doing fencing the van will only fit 5 feet in the back so ok for a 1.2 m fence but cant fit posts rails ect in and cant even fit a stihl fs70 in and a honda izy 21" mowernin without stuff getting knocked damaged ect so for the new year looking for something as a alternative Tipper would be handy as no need for a trailer but there is a lot of travellers around here posing a arborists tree surgeons ect and dont want folk to think im one of them and go in rip them off get the money and leave a professional to finish the job off! 4x4 would be ok as run around as well as work vehicle can go offroad and not get stuck and would also consider putting a load liner roller thingy on to unload the truck bed with a lot of ease ? Can anyone help as its 2 x 3's or half a dozen need personal experiances as guidance any help would be appreciated Jack
  10. Would this be any good for stuff like chip, topsoil and mulch stuff like that?
  11. Sorry still trying to get used to replying on this
  12. Ive just emailed global recycling systems and the M500 is in stock and its £10140 including vat that also includes delivery and a spare set of blades are these machines really worth that price?
  13. Dust supression works a treat for that and always easier to clean a litte bit of slurry than a load of dust
  14. Thank you I really appreciate that I'm just really keen to learn the ropes I'd happily be the person just to sharpen the saws and fuel & oil them up and be at the very bottom and gain experience. If I had my drivers license I would of happily travelled that distance as well. I have re booked my theory for just after Christmas and see how It goes
  15. Hi I'm just enquiring to see if there is any arborists in the maryport Cumbria area looking for a groundie or just someone to drag brash and feed the chipper I have got experience using chainsaws and chippers just no tickets I have not got my driving license yet but I will have sooner rather than later just need to pass my theory but suffer with dyslexia so bit of a struggle I would like to work my way up the ladder and eventually climb but will need on the job training as applied for college but got told I wasn't clever enough to even be considered I really enjoy working out doors and I also do groundworks and landscaping I have always been amazed at how arborists work a would really like to learn off professionsals if anyone is willing to give me a chance please let me know Just to add on the qualifications I have is my CSCS Card H&S an also health and safety in horticulture I have experience in : flagging, Kerbing, block paving, drainage, fencing, turfing & General Grounds & Garden Maintenance and can lay blocks aswell
  16. I've used them for cuting breeze blocks and block paving and odd jobs once you throttle up I've always found them to pull to the side I've always liked the Stihl ts410 or the husqvarna k760 which is the new partner basically really good saws to use and comftable
  17. I just hire a bobcat e10 wobble the post about with the bucket then wrap a sling around as close to the bottom as possible and normally it just lifts out
