  10. Hi all sorry to bother yous but I am just wanting to know how much it would cost for my cs30/31/38/39 & chipper I have had a price off my local trainers and they said £700 Inc vat and that is all covered in a week. But at a local college it would take 13 days and cost me £2100 so I'm confused at how there is such a huge price difference about 50 miles apart any info is appreciated Jack
  11. If your in the all clear then just remember "the customer is always right" even though they called in a professional to dk what they couldnt! so you've gave it all you've got so when it all goes tits up your not responsible for their actions ?
  12. Will you not be held liable for any flood damage? Did you not put a contract in place for the work being carried out and approx duration for it to be done in? How long has the job taken so far? @JackP

  18. The call out charge was literally to just come out and jet it then if needed be theyd send a camera up if there was and collapsed pipework we would advise the customer to get a survey and if they agreed we would survey it noting all defects and then advise rather 0.5m patch 1m patch or a drag through liner and the patches were absolutley extorcionate price and the best part was if the clay pipe popped and the packer got stuch we would have to excavate it and retrieve our stuff and then charge the customer for the "Extra Work"
  19. I worked for a drainage company for 12-18 months and for a 4" pipe 0.5m long they charged £500 plus £180 call out charge thats without surveying so your fix sounds really cheap considering with the patches it normally takes about 15 mins to survey depending on the run lengh and then to cut the patch apply the resin and send the packer down the run its about 2.5 hours all in ?
  20. If anything snapping a shovel is a lot cheaper aswell
  21. That's me all out of suggestions then my first thought is always will a digger work and if the answer is no my next thought is way about bruit force? That's my logic and it seems to work ??
