  1. Hi Since Batman and Co have been ordered out of there caves in China they are listing lots of counterfeit items one being Stihl bar and two chains for £39.99! Has stihl branding all over them says genuine stihl! then when check in the listing box below says "Unbranded" They have Neg feedback for fake already have reported to ebay but as usual there in Cahoots There is Also Husqvarna set ups also. Seem to think while everyone locked down/in that they can do what they like!
  2. Just spotted a boxer skid steer on eBay for a touch under 4K, seems reasonable, been after one for a while, is this a too good to be true price ? Are they any good compared to the stand on vermeers/bobcats ? Cheers
  3. Just a quick one - watch out for fraudulent listings on ebay for processors etc. The scammers are hacking different accounts each time, they usually have good feedback but not recent and completely unrelated to forestry. The description is also usually very minimal, usually for example: Forestry and Hedging 2011 Good Overall Condition Good Interior Condition Forestry and Hedging Attachments Green Good Body Condition. It might sound pretty obvious but I would hate to see anyone get conned. The machines they advertise normally are for sale legitimately on other websites and they copy the pictures from there. It's happened at least four times with one of them. It's normally only listed for a few days which is abnormal and at a low starting price which for the type of machine. There are tonnes of genuine items there so don't want to be negative but wanted to share the common signs. Each time I have reported the item as fraudulent and sent a message asking for the serial number and it is quickly removed, but it's impossible to speak to ebay about anything to raise the issue. There's one on just now with 7 bids and it's definitely fake. Regards Jack
  4. I bought it a while ago on eBay but have no idea what make it is. Its running ok at the moment but will be able to get parts for it? It says 20:1 mixture but can I use a higher ratio if I use fully synthetic 2 stroke oil? So many questions, sorry.
  5. Saw pod - Arborist Derbyshire Saw Pod, Tree Surgeon Silky on eBay (end time 20-Feb-11 19:39:32 GMT) Guidance notes - Guidance Note 7 Tree Surveys Arborist Tree Surgeon on eBay (end time 20-Feb-11 20:10:30 GMT) Cheers ciaran.
  6. SEASONED HARDWOOD LOGS on eBay (end time 25-Jan-10 17:23:49 GMT) Wonder if there is a reserve?
  7. Wood Chipper - Vermeer BC1000i on eBay (end time 24-Jan-10 15:21:01 GMT) Could be a bargain at the moment...
