  1. Yeah it seems to be pretty common, I know most people steer clear if it looks dodgy but the one that's on at the moment seems to be getting a few bids and its not got long left. Hopefully ebay get it removed or the scammers get my message and remove it before it ends. Frustrating that there's no way of taking it further as its not the real persons account
  2. Just a quick one - watch out for fraudulent listings on ebay for processors etc. The scammers are hacking different accounts each time, they usually have good feedback but not recent and completely unrelated to forestry. The description is also usually very minimal, usually for example: Forestry and Hedging 2011 Good Overall Condition Good Interior Condition Forestry and Hedging Attachments Green Good Body Condition. It might sound pretty obvious but I would hate to see anyone get conned. The machines they advertise normally are for sale legitimately on other websites and they copy the pictures from there. It's happened at least four times with one of them. It's normally only listed for a few days which is abnormal and at a low starting price which for the type of machine. There are tonnes of genuine items there so don't want to be negative but wanted to share the common signs. Each time I have reported the item as fraudulent and sent a message asking for the serial number and it is quickly removed, but it's impossible to speak to ebay about anything to raise the issue. There's one on just now with 7 bids and it's definitely fake. Regards Jack

  4. Hi there. New to Arbtalk. Am looking to buy a Valtra Valmet, along the lines of 8450, needs to be good condition and sub 7k hours if possible. Have had a look online and really tricky to find. It musn't be a hi-tech. If anyone can help it would be great. Thanks Jack:thumbup1:
