  1. Another quality video blaisey. [emoji106] Personally the wider the board the thicker the slab. Getting into milling 4" boards with wide butts. The cohesion of fibres is better, less distortion and so much less sawdust. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  2. The 362 is a dog. The power of a 50cc with the weight of a 70cc. The 462 is way ahead. A spud ported 560 cuts about the same as a 461. But weighs lots less. [emoji106]
  3. It's a state school, in Huddersfield. Looks like it's been managed, lack of deadwood etc. Informed the school today. Photos and email at reception.
  4. Yeah, Might talk to the school later today. If they want I'll do it as a freebie. Thanks for the advice [emoji106]
  5. My daughter has just started a new school with a small woodland. Couldn't help noticing this. I'm no tree surveyor, but I thought this might need sorting. Any advice?
  6. Yale do a cable puller identical to tirfor but half the price. I've got the 1.6 ton version and it's pretty tasty. Weighs quite a bit though, with steel cables and ropes etc. Gets heavier the further you have to walk it. The 3.2 ton version is about the weight of a small bungalow. If you get one, get the appropriate rated strops, shackles and rigging rope. [emoji106]

  8. Thanks mate, I'll be phoning em tomorrow. Anyone on here got a license to store up to 275 litres?
  9. Not sure about this Wonky, Informed at work about 3 weeks ago, we could legally carry 330 litres of fuel in a vehicle. I presume this means you are allowed to store that amount?
  10. How much for 200 litres delivered?
  11. Ages. Never timed one. But two batteries should last all day. [emoji106]
  12. Stihl msa200 with the ap300 batteries. Cuts smoothly and cleanly even with seasoned oak sleepers. [emoji106]
  13. If they were paid properly to begin with maybe they wouldn't leave?
  14. No issues. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji106]
  15. Logosol sawmills use it. What sprocket are you using?
  16. Don't use them on the tops of walls! Cowboys who put our neighbours fence up used them on topping stones. 1 month later the wall and fence were going south. Otherwise they are good bits of kit. [emoji106]
  17. Send a form to all the dead people asking if they mind being shaded by the yew tree... [emoji57][emoji12][emoji848][emoji23]
  18. It's on the list now, will be down very soon. By professionals. [emoji106]
  19. Stihl bio oil is what I use, never had a problem. Last non functional oiler I had was ten years ago. Normally non or low oiling is a mechanical fault. But, on most of your saws even new ones, I would suspect foul play.
  20. No, but saw this today near a job. this is on a 60' ash leaning towards houses 40' away. the cuts are about 4" deep all round. ?
  21. Who on here was using aspen cans for storage? Had a cool photo of lots of shelves?
