  1. Now with CSCS card [emoji106]
  2. Started this monster today, About 10' long and 105cm wide. Maxed out the 48" mill. Looks better washed [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  3. Timber in the round or slabbed?
  4. At the point the camera stops the winch is released and butt end is lowered into chipper. We had 20+ tons of hardware attached to the heavy winch. Wouldn't try going heavy with a transit.
  5. I own stock saws for work, But I've used a few ported saws before. Tried a few by spud too. The husky560 (I believe) is a corker once it's passed through spuds hands. Wonky's stihl ms660 ported, jungle muffler and 100cc big bore: My stock 661 in the same log: Spud ported 560 vs stock 461: [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  6. That's amazing colour and burrs. Paint the ends in pva glue. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  7. I've rigged directly into a winched bandit. Worked well. 4 man team. Climber cutting, man 1 below on the capstan lowering down zip line. Man 2 on chipper winch to release tension and turn chipper on. Man 3 unties strop and pushes into chipper. Man 1 pulls strop back up zip line to climber. Repeat. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  8. Next time you get pulled, Remember this... [emoji12][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  9. They already are. It's called a serial number. Ask your dealer. [emoji12][emoji106]
  10. Got a knock on the door twenty minutes ago. Neighbour stood there says "they've tried to nick your trailer". She was right! In the foreground you can see the empty space, in the background, you can see how far they got with it. I didn't have a wheel clamp so I chained a six foot log to it. Log was still attached. [emoji3][emoji106] Fecking **** *****... At least i got it back. [emoji3][emoji106][emoji106][emoji23]
  11. Taking bookings for January and February. [emoji106]
  12. Arrived on a large site once, was given a 3" thick ecological/bat report. Site manager said I had to read and follow it. A frantic hour of scanning later I realised the report concluded that all wildlife had already left the site. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji106]
  13. Any tool from the company "faithful" is only skip worthy. Keep an eye out at car boots. Got quite a few old tools for 50p-£1 [emoji106]
  14. Yeah the early versions were crap.
  15. My sister in law worked for a tree firm in London many years ago. The other secretary wrote Rd instead of Av . Twenty mature London planes felled. £20k fine per tree. Instant bankruptcy. 20+ staff on there arses. [emoji51]
  16. Members of the travelling community doing something good. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-46388211
  17. Still free next week if anyone needs a hand. [emoji106]
  18. Greased my 261 (2017) for the first time after 18 months of use. Mint. Even left the original needle cage as no signs of wear. [emoji106]
  19. Strictly for work purposes. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  20. You don't need a gun... [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  21. Can't help thinking of Mick Dundee... That's not a knife... [emoji12][emoji106]
  22. Hazel makes good charcoal if you can process it. [emoji106]
  23. Worked with a kleptomaniac in a shop. Within 10 minutes of opening the till was £20 down. Hadn't had one customer. I asked him what happened. He grins and says "I just love the buzz of stealing.". It was only us two in the shop. [emoji848][emoji51]☹️
  24. Thanks Silky [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
