  1. Do you get a spark from the plug? Are you getting fuel through?
  2. Pm me your email, I'll send you a copy of chapter 8. [emoji106]
  3. It's a kebab with a baked potato. And beetroot. [emoji51][emoji15]
  4. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  5. Was in Brittany. I can't imagine the French making paperwork easier. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  6. Thermals. Gas stove, kettle etc. [emoji106]
  7. It hurts my brain to even think about it. (And I speak fluent French) I hope you enjoy paperwork and visiting endless burocratic offices with the wrong form. Micro enterprise is a possibility, but that's another minefield of insurance etc. I used to use a system where you get paid and the client pays social charges. Then client reclaims social charges. It's to stop cash in hand work. [emoji106]
  8. Actual "value" And what someone will pay are two different things. How old is it? Stored outdoors? What condition is it in? Where are you based? How quick do you need to sell it? Especially as you can buy most of the above new from other brands for not much more than your second hand price. Example: I watched my neighbour recondition his trailer, He spent hundreds of pounds and several days labour, stripping the old wood out, grinding off all the rust, two coats of quality paint, 4 new wheels and tyres and 4 new spares, New jockey wheel and new spare. All wooden floor redone with 2" planks, fitted a winch and bastard boards, added a ramp. I looked on thinking mmmm nice trailer. 3months later he's moving house and changing business. You want to buy my trailer for £400? he asked me. (After 2weeks on eBay with no bids). I got a £1000+ trailer for £400. If you're not in a hurry then you might get that price. Good luck. 9. I counted LPX 1st cut 17 seconds 2nd cut 15 seconds EXL 1st cut 16 seconds 2nd cut 15 seconds
  10. Notice how both chain hang low after only 2 cuts in dry sycamore. [emoji848] I'll try to take another video with fresh green wood over the weekend. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  11. Received chains today. Video tomorrow. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  12. I've had sweet chestnut smell of banana, Had two different magnolias, one smelt lovely and citrusy, the other smelled of er... spaff. Nasty.
  13. You don't have to have a license to buy a chainsaw or use one. But you'd be fecking stupid (Or Worse) if you were using one regularly without any training. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  14. Would your impact gun need lolering? [emoji848]
  15. The global business model is the wrong way round. Profits before everything. It's cheaper to find a loophole than pay the right price. Where are we heading? [emoji51]
  16. I work in arb. It's mandatory. [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12] Maybe it's the way I speak to them? I imagine a call centre of "normal folk" Who get shouted at all day. I just use courtesy and friendliness. Have a nice chat. Has worked 100% so far. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  17. 1.5-2m trunk with a 20" bar? I run 18" on a 261, my 20" bar is never used. I tried it on the 461 and 661 and I couldn't see the point. If I'm cutting up to 20" the 261. 21-28" logs the 461 25" Long ago I cut up a 1.2m dbh oak with just a 440 25". Took a loooong time, but almost impossible with a 20" bar. Otherwise very fair points. [emoji106]
  18. What ever you get, put a 25" bar on it. All good 70cc saws should pull it with ease. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  19. Does anyone have a husqvarna large saw instructions manual? Does it have a chain sharpening section anyone could post up? Same goes for echo, maculloch, Oregon or any other brands. [emoji106]
  20. Have a chat with hmrc, Remember they are there to help you. I found them really helpful and relaxed. They can explain a lot. The first 3 years of being SE in the Uk, I only had paper invoice duplicate books. [emoji106] No expenditure receipts.[emoji23] Late tax return fines etc. Forty minute interview with Hmrc accessor and he cleared the lot.[emoji3] I'm so on it now. Yes get an accountant if you have enough turnover. Good luck [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  21. it's not really the tie straps I'm concerned with. It's the side plate angle and the hook. By dropping a file size you have both and no cutting into the tie strap. [emoji106]
