  2. I have the srt sequoia and find the waist buckles undo through the day which is helpful. Have tried the simantghu and it felt great but as you say a little bulky. What about the old school butterfly jobbies?

  5. If your buying the kit then get to using it low and slow. Learn the correct techniques for anchors and gear setup and it should become second nature to you. But there's nothing wrong with a Prussik some days, he'll even a blakes can be fun sometimes.

  7. Well worth giving scott Fraser a shout for training. Super knowledgable guy and a great setup. Only advise I'd have is give some local folks a shout to get you started dragging brash and getting the basics sorted. I'm only in Ashford and we're all friendly (well most of us[emoji12])
  8. The VW tippers are not great. I have a cabstar which is great, 3ltr motor and plenty of room for chip

  12. After drilling mine neatly with an 8mm bit my deflector dropped off. Ended up battering a hole through the outlet like you have done. Makes it sound like a motor cross bike
  13. May work out easier for you to get a subbie with chipper in for thenjobs to start
  14. A long body shirt would be ace. Sometimes two tshirts is easier to work in than a hoodie but you can't beat a thick fleecy hoodie for the drive home.
  15. 550 on a 15" is a beauty of a saw. Great for delicate cuts in the tree but equally happy doing double bar length take downs in the woods
  16. Won't go wrong with a 550 they will run 13,15,18" bars no problem. Super fast trigger and really light.

  21. I'm down in Kent so a good distance from you. Not sure on price. I have some hd log clamps for it. Would be after a decent offer really
