  1. You find the long stuff tether better than a short QuickDraw sling Mark? Also is that a stainless 8mm shackle?
  2. My 150 was in for a clean up and sort the oiler again. Third time in 6 months it's stopped oiling, all sorted after two hours thanks to a high quality Stihl piston stop that the end snapped off meaning a game of fish out the plastic 😒
  3. You take timber ideally kiln dried, it works best with spalted timber that absorbs more. A resin is put into a vacuum along with the wood and it's forced in by pressure and creates a plastic like feel and strength to the wood
  4. My local lister wilder has like 4 pairs on the shelf
  5. Ring Cameron at trust they will take care of you
  6. I heard that last year, weren't they all wearing said college tops aswell 😜

  9. Ordered up a thimble Prussik from treekit a week or so ago and it arrived real quick. Only thing is there's two lumps in the line of it which feel a little odd. Tried to email them as I haven't had phone signal during the day time but no response. Anybody else seen that??
  10. As above I tried a diff cam and my positioner on a wire and it didn't feel good. Just buy a cheap rope grab for the wire
  11. Love it. A little grabby to start but soon learned how to make it smooth.
  12. Positioner on 3m hedera Distel/pulley on 5m hedera with thimble Prussik similar to a ce lanyard but a lot cheaper
  13. Skin is the best glove but if you have to try red pfanner ones
  14. I do forestry and residential Arb work. Would be a panel van transit and not needed to chip into. Just be odd loads of logs and different kit
  15. Narrowed it down to two finally Needs to meet the following Lez compliant Towing ability (chipper/small trailer) Somewhere to store tools and kit Comfy for long drives This is going to be used alongside my pickup with chip box for jobs inside lez area and when subbing out so no signwriting Transit vs l200 single cab???
  16. That's a cool idea with the spanner left on there. I use that same delta link with a butterfly and enough tail to retrieve. May go fun and old spanner to grind down and try this
  17. Pretty sure it's a 10mm. Similar size to a three way Biner and super solid
  18. Have always just tightened by hand, never seen one spin loose. Always used to use them rock climbing for top anchors aswell and never used a spanner.
  19. Just got a delta mallion to use for top tie.
