  1. They are similar to a lathe in that the piece turns but it also oscillates. Normally a fixed cutting tool and will make multiple handles at once.
  2. Cheers for that. Easy enough to send them off for splicing?
  3. What Set up do you have with them? Think it's only treekit that have them spliced up. Also like the look of the shizll sling with a ring
  4. Anybody here using x rings and could they be used in place of a standard block??
  5. Nasty Connie row all out and 'logged' for the customer. Some people are so desperate for firewood they will burn anything?
  6. Axe handles are oval in shape so you would need a rotating duplicator rather than a lathe It's possible to turn ovals on a lathe freehand but requires remounting the timber three times during turning.
  7. 372,muff mod and carb adjust. 8 pin on 16" and 7pin skip chain on a 24"
  8. Thanks for taking the time to put this together again. Let's hope it raises a bunch of money
  9. 150-540-550-372-3120 if it's bigger than a 42" then I call in Jesus 😂
  10. I have a marlow rope aswell as a Samson for mine. The Marlow is purple and black, run s fine although I prefer the 11.2mm Samson hot
  11. Big storm coming across the Atlantic. Bringing winds, rain and high swells.
  12. Just gave mine a blow through with the airline and then a dose of oil to all the moving parts I could see. Even wiped the cable over and oiled it, I'm sure il regret that next time I use it 😒
  13. Toolstation? If not can you use 2 ton slings in a basket hitch to double the strength??
  14. Anyone have some shots of there catchers? Need to make one for my homemade back but trying to find some ideas.
  15. Currently got around 30 ton of timber to process. Happy to do it with saw and axe in my spare time. Am I better cutting on the stack even when the woods a mix of cord and Arb waste or would a portek style holder speed things up??
  16. One of my 550s is two years old with no problems. New plug and filters last year and it's good. Two new ones are also running fine, get it swapped for another as the weight between 50 and 60 is noticeable.
  17. Noticed the 3/8 058 full skip Oregon is in the wrong section.
  18. Tried ringing stiles and bates? Based in Dover but I know they will ship. Dave the owners your man to speak to.
  19. That saw doesn't get much use other than large and awkward trees, used a few wrap saws and love the extra position you can hold it in.
  20. Found some full wraps but can't find one with heated element, is it possible to swap the element and switchgear into the new one or do I risk loosing the heat?
  21. Completely forgot to look there. They have a 20 and 24 in the 3/8 and k095 fitment 😳 Not sure the side case needs to change as loads of people running 3/8 on these.
  22. Was that 20" 325 or 3/8? The new husky bars are a little better than old but still don't come anywhere near a Sugi
  23. Saw those but need it to be 3/8 058 to get the skip chain 😒 may have to save some more and buy another saw 😜
