  1. Not had that so far Mark. Sometimes have to adjust the wrench before sitting back on it. Still playing around with different sling lengths but may try my long stiff tether and a bolt or shackle
  2. Been using mine like this for a while now, real nice and smooth
  3. Budget of 10k what would you buy? Requirements: 4 seats Power to tow chipper/trailer @ 3t max Comfy for long drives 4x4 Not commercial or pickup
  4. Guessing finer mesh in visor. I like the fit of mine and love the way the earmuffs tuck away, but! Earmuffs are crap at noise cancelling.
  5. Considering buying a stock hi cap and getting a tipper back on it but end up being a similar cost. Any preference on 300tdi or td5
  6. If you don't want to tie a huge tail put the end of your lanyard into the end if it's long enough for retrieval or use a secondary short line.
  7. Can't you just tie off your srt anchor with a bowline and long tail, then descend to your next cut and pull the tail down, re choke it and away you go
  8. That's a great reply thanks Logan. Now to find one that's under 15k
  9. The vertical chippers are reasonable heavy. Probably take two people to load/unload at each end. I have used verticals and own a 6" tw and the amount of time it saves is great. Another option is to hire in a man and chipper for jobs
  10. That bar with the 095 mount sounds right just need to check wether it's 050 or 058 Run a 24 on mine occasionally and it pulls it ok but it's only a 60cc saw
  11. Maybe to far for him but worth a shout. James at summerhill woodwork might be your man
  12. Off top of my head that's the back of it yeah. Not including wheelarches in that space.
  13. Sat watching tv currently. It's roughly 140x140x120cm But with a single cab, chip box that's higher and with a flat floor there's got to be more room in than mine
  14. I already have a trailer, it doesn't tip but does everything I need it to except when I need the chipper aswell. Can't tow both
  15. Have a double cab currently so a single or space cab will allow a longer box and better placed over the axle.
  16. I have a homemade box on my standard tub and it only gets about 2 cube at best. Looking for a single cab and larger box to get more chip on
  17. So currently have a isuzu with homemade high sides but needing something newer and with a tipping alloy box on the back. Do I go for hilux/isuzu, etc etc with a chip box and updated springs or a 110/130 with box and updated springs? Seems the prices are similar but the 110/130 has higher mileage on the for the same price. I'm thinking that the 110 would take more weight than the jap versions?? Any thoughts?
  18. Sugi bars on everything, got one bar that's on its second saw
  19. I have the end vents open about a foot all the time and both doors don't really shut tight.
  20. I wish we could get caulk spiked boots like they have in USA but with cut gear in then
  21. Yeah plenty of folks saying I should have bought a bandmill. Except they are a lot more money! Hoping to give it a run today on some chestnut posts, I have heard that sharp rip chains give a good finish but didn't know it could be that good
  22. I'm hoping the 22" on the 3120 will be ideal setup. May get an 8t sprocket for it as it's a 3/8 bar I have a cheap Alaskan so can quarter larger stuff if needed and after spending all day humping big logs about for a post order I know big woods heavy. Just need some bigger muscles
  23. Got the 3120 and a 372 with a 22/36/42 to run so hopefully one of those should do for now.
  24. I had only just emailed logosol about a demo and thought I'd have a look on eBay 😜 brand new still in the box. Guy just didn't get chance to use it so was selling.
