  1. Semi chis for most everything and full chis for softwood
  2. Run those aswell but find the corners loose the edge quicker than stilhl
  3. I run a few 550s all on Sugi bars. Mainly run stihl 325 semi chis chains, stay sharp longer and the stihl seem to be tougher than others.
  4. Got spare days this month and next. Based in Ashford, happy to travel up to an hour. 30,31,38,39 Ground/climbing saws and kit Truck Message me or email [email protected]
  5. It's been really good. A few different dry times between the two but could have been the weather. Pulls in well and holds the rain off pretty well
  6. I have seen and used one and couldn't really find much difference to the pulley saver. I have the teufelberger but climb more srt so don't need them now.
  7. Yeah it's a 3.1 Just got the signs done.
  8. Use the stihl ones now they last a lot longer.
  9. Without taking it apart that was the best I could do with just a drill. Trying to find a second hand one to fully gut and see what it runs like.
  10. Took some of it apart at the inlet side
  11. I thought you would be impressed 😜 going to track down the Dremel tomorrow and make it a little neater looking
  12. Got to be an award for the neatest job ever 😜
  13. I have an xsre on the top of mine. And like you bought the wrong one without the clip 😒 guessing an xsre in the rings should be fine as you say.
  14. It's working OK afterwards. I did it almost properly and removed the can, drilled then blew all the chips out b
  15. When I did my 38 we had a flip line and also a Prussik with a choked line around the stem as a back up. Top anchors for rescue was a sling with a pinto.
  16. Thanks for that, I can't do either as my welder a broken and so is my torch 😒 Ended up lifting the deflector and poking the drill in there like a mad man.
  17. I have figured out the how and where to modify but need a way to reseal the deflector after bending it up. Am I being silly in thinking I can solder it the same as I do gas and pipe fittings??
  18. Have you tried Milner off road? They have all the odd parts for most 4x4s
  19. Got a 3120 recently to mill with. It seems a good heavy duty saw, still getting it run in before starting to mill with it. Certainly plenty of oil on the bar in use
  20. All sorted great service from Cam at trust. Feel pretty happy with the insurance I have and a lot better service than my previous supplier.
  21. Anybody have any reviews on these?? Venom by rock machinery. 13hp with a b&s motor. To be used for reductions and smaller stuff until I can afford a real chipper. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262546130836
