  1. Cheers spud if I can I'll check it out tomorrow.
  2. Are checking the shoes an easy job spud?? Mines a year old and runs in coppice most days so has taken some abuse
  3. Mines been doing this lately, chains fines and seems to be oiling but gets real hot real quick.
  4. But as long as the Sugi doesn't get bent it's a better bar
  5. Sugi solid pro on everything. Stiff, bore well and hardly ever need filing.
  6. Hand cutter, chestnut and firewood/chip Hold 30/31/38/39 nptc Fully insured Full climbing kit and saw Ground saws, tirfor and 4x4 Available for work and short notice jobs. Based in Ashford but happy to tracked and gain experience. Text me on 07795483802
  7. We all know your the man for Sugi bars Rob. I'll be onto you for a few new ones soon.
  8. I am interested in the tung oil you produce. Currently use tung and hard wax on my food safe and Danish on everything else. Happy to give some feedback
  9. Pro solid is a one piece bar with replaceable tip and the lite has sections machines out and filled with resin to make it lighter
  10. Bike grip tape works well, you can buy a full wrap handle for the 560
  11. There is/was an antique tool store in Bristol that may be able to offer some advice on the items you have of your stuck.
  12. The pro solid and pro lite with cutouts are replaceable tips. The white laminate pro bar is a one piece bar similar to the one you have now. I have a 15" solid pro that hasn't seen a file in a year so wouldn't be worrying about wearing tips quick
  13. The red writing pro solid bars I did the stiffest. He carries them in the 325 0.58 that you require.
  14. Changed the filter in line and it was a little better. Just not the same
  15. Chainsaw bars.co.uk is rob d Yep husky chain will swap over although bpx Oregon and stihl chains are a little better.
  16. Interesting to see some shots. I use old chisels and moulding plane daily as there better than modern tooling.
  17. Fr Jones have the best prices for everything.
  18. Take the standard bar and throw it out the window, get onto rob d for some Sugi bars. A 15 & 13 will give you the best options on that saw. Found the Oregon bars a little soft
  19. Cheers spud. Only got it back from a retune a few days ago, still not quite right even with a new green breather cap on it. Maybe time for a new one.
  20. Mines getting a little boggy now even after a retune and service. Definitely my favourite saw and always first off the truck, run a 13 & 15 on it no problems.
  21. I was hoping to trade there this year but not been able to find any contact details. Always a good show if a little thin on numbers, good stalls and great food even if it does always rain.
  22. How do you find the 3/8 on there?? Where did you get the sprocket
  23. I find on a 13" they give that little extra speed to chase a hinge or zip a cut quick.
