  1. Got the saw into some trees today, filter and plug have made a little difference and after running it through some 15" wood flat out to reset seems a little better. Still a little boggy at times, when I was in the dealer he said about plugging it in for a reset and some updates?!? I thought it was a saw not an iPhone 😜
  2. I'm trying to figure it out on excel with dates/serial no/ usage and similar. Anybody got a shot of there's??
  3. Got 38/39 coming up soon and realised I have a bunch of gear to organise. I'm wondering how you guys keep track of serial numbers/dates and condition of ropes, clips and similar.
  4. Everyone loves shooting stuff right
  5. Saw a few at the arb show. Look to be around 40mm pipe with a decent shut off.
  6. Cheers for those sir, I got a new filter and plug into it this afternoon and sharpened it a treat. Going to run it in some coppice tomorrow and get some feedback up on here.
  7. Thank you sir. I have seen people putting another hole next to the stock one under the deflector, the saws out of warranty now so figured it couldn't hurt?? Always run Sugi bar and full chis which gets a touch up as soon as its lost the corners. Need a new sprocket soon aswell so that could help a little.
  8. Just had the exhaust off and piston looks to have no scoring on it, while it was off I realised it's pretty restrictive, wondering if a mod might open it up a bit? Going to get a filter ordered today for it.
  9. Am I right in thinking to reset run the saw in some large timber for a few minutes??
  10. That would be fine but runnin aspen to cut coppice would be a little expensive
  11. Cheers for that I'll get a new filter in it and plug, then check the other things.
  12. My 550 is coming on for 14 months old now and has been fine. I had somebody using it for a few months and not really taking care of it and now I'm using it again it doesn't seem right. When starting from cold or hot, it revs then dies off. Can do this a few times but eventually picks up and will cut. Currently I have a 15" full chis which is sharp but even cutting 10" hornbeam/birch/syc it doesn't have much guts and can't be pushed in the cut.
  13. Oh that bit must be real I meant the Lightning 😜
  14. Nice drone footage and some fancy editing.
  15. Cheers for that, figured I was being silly. Hopefully be here early Friday morning.
  16. Just grabbed some tickets and hoping they are both fri and sat camping but a little confusing. What times it all kick off on Friday as I'm travelling a fair way and would like to fit it all in.
  17. I'm a little further away in Kent but if you need any pointer just ask.
  18. One day they will be out enjoying 20c temps and saw trousers.
  19. Bought the missus the back handle and that was a little funny at first. Slacked the chain and ran it up then tightened it as normal and know it's fine.
  20. Had a nice commute to the cutting site today and even took out a nasty rotten multi stem willow.
  21. This's a great watch with my brekkie. Thanks Reg
  22. A bit of that size would be around £100 at least of any quality.
  23. Been busy getting ready for trading at river cottage this bank holiday.
  24. Used to fix the blade back on a turf cutter, lasted a whole 2 seconds !!!
  25. Something else to get yeah, probably try on some arbortecs
