  1. The guys at torry hill have had a monster chipper in the yard for a while, maybe worth giving them a call to find out who it is.
  2. I wear air streams just on the ground. Comfy, warm and dry in all conditions.
  3. Only run sugi bars now after melting husky and oregon bars.
  4. Cheers Steve. Hoping to start 2016 better than last year and if I don't win the money will help some other.
  5. I have regular work cutting firewood and coppice then sub out inbetween. Cutting when the weathers good and subbing when it's not so great. Where are you based?
  6. Never to late to learn anything. I'd say go for it, be a bunch of people after help here and there. Depending where your based I may have bits for you.
  7. Hope all goes well for you in the new year sir. I may have a 372 to send up to you soon for a tune up. Are you after any decoration for your walls? I have a few silky posters here that could brighten it up.
  8. Some new ones finished, first two of the year and also a quick goblet fresh out of a log
  9. So after a little searching I can't find a 16" or 18" sugi bar anywhere in stock. After a solid bar really over the light weight,, just looks a little tougher.
  10. I was running a 550 and it was pretty good but found hot start problems and 10-15 pulls was getting tiring. I got a second hand 372 on eBay which is great, almost mastered the carb settings myself and would say the older saws if serviced are great.
  11. I'm trying to find somebody to make me a non tipping body for my pickup, down in Kent, hoping to pay less than a grand if I can.
  12. What about a 372? I have been running one in some coppice on a 22" and it's a good saw. Come over and give it a try if you want Steve.
  13. I should have a bunch of these ready soon, hoping to find some hedge layers in Kent that want them all.
  14. You still have roughly the same clearance as you did with the stock body on then?
  15. What clearance have you guys left from tyre to base of bed? Need to do something like this to mine in the new year but struggling to work out heights other than existing tub height
  16. Working just out of doddington right now and the woods are covered in blueys poking through
  17. [QUOaTE=Taupotreeman;1400668]No idea how to send an attachment in a message but if you flick me your email I'll send you a copy. Thanks, my emails [email protected]
  18. Love to see a shot of one if you could message it over? Looked on the arb site but only using an ipad makes it hard to see some stuff.
  19. That's real affordable, and must be nice with the pole barn, I get what your saying about it coming to an end one day but hope it's not to soon.
  20. It seems hard to find templates related to tree work online. Anybody care to share a pic of a blank one they use? I tend to end up signing them when out with others but doing a lot more work on my own and need to figure some out for myself. I was hoping you could buy them in duplicate booklets?
